The question of whether diabetes and its cardiovascular risks can be prevented: a realistic DREAM?

TL;DR: Several recent large-scale clinical studies have demonstrated, as a secondary objective, that inhibition of the RAS delays type 2 diabetes development, and these studies include CAPPP, HOPE, and VALUE.

Purification of an angiotensin II binding protein by using antibodies to a peptide encoded by angiotensin II complementary RNA (angiotensin II receptor/complementary peptides/molecular recognition code/immunoaffinity chromatography)

TL;DR: It is shown that antibody to the complementary peptide can be used to immunoaffinity-purify a protein of Mr 66,000 that specifically binds radiolabeled AII.
