TL;DR: A smart home automation system is implemented which consists of automatic control of lights to turn on in presence of human and turn off rest of the time as well as Bluetooth remote controlling ability along with automatic door lock and open system, automatic Water tap, automatic water tank fill-up and Solar charging system with the solar controller to reduce the power consumption.
Abstract: The paper demonstrates to design a smart home system for physically disabled persons with the purpose of reduction of water and power consumption. The physically disabled persons require special assistances from caretakers or other persons to lead their normal life and even at home, it is not convenient for them to control the house apparatus system according to their wish. In this paper, a smart home automation system is implemented which consists of automatic control of lights to turn on in presence of human and turn off rest of the time as well as Bluetooth remote controlling ability along with automatic door lock and open system, automatic Water tap, automatic water tank fill-up and Solar charging system with the solar controller to reduce the power consumption. The project has been implemented using low-cost components and based on Arduino platform with an aim to develop a system which will be effective to reduce water wastage in real time as well as the project will be able to reduce power consumption and utility bill by using renewable energy as the power source.

TL;DR: An autonomous dam gate system has been developed which can be used to protect the low-lying area from the tidal water as well as it can also be used in an irrigation canal, power plant, factories etc.
Abstract: Autonomous dam and drainage system is a system which does not require to operate by hand. Nowadays water logging due to tide has become a great problem. In this paper, an automatic dam gate system has been proposed to automatically control dam gate without human effort. An autonomous dam gate system has been developed which can be used to protect the low-lying area from the tidal water as well as it can also be used in an irrigation canal, power plant, factories etc. The system is capable of sensing drain water and tidal water. By sensing drain water, it controls a pump to irrigate excessive water. DC motors are used to control the movement of dam gates. Arduino UNO is used as the processor. A control box is provided to control and observe the condition of the whole system.

TL;DR: In this investigation, the traditional irrigation system of Bangladesh has been modernized using recent technology for the betterment of rural farmers, and its impact upon agricultural development has been discussed.
Abstract: In this investigation, the traditional irrigation system of Bangladesh has been modernized using recent technology for the betterment of rural farmers, and its impact upon agricultural development has been discussed. More precisely, user-friendly watering in the field, along with reducing labor cost, standardization of farming system, using technical advancement to meet the peak demand for food, and improving farming methods are the key objectives. ATmega 2560 microcontroller, Sensors, GSM module, LCD, and Solenoid valve has been used as a prime component. Temperature, humidity, and water level corresponding to a particular field has been measured. That information has been sent to its user through a short message service. Finally, the pump has been controlled based on the water requirement. As a result, a certain amount of water and electricity can be saved, which has been calculated. Manual and automatic operation mode also substantiated.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the antidiabetic, hypolipidemic, and hepatoprotective effects of methanol and aqueous extracts of Ganoderma applanatum (MEGA, AEGA) in alloxan-induced diabetic rats.
Abstract: This study was undertaken to evaluate the antidiabetic, hypolipidemic, and hepatoprotective effects of methanol and aqueous extracts of Ganoderma applanatum (MEGA, AEGA) in alloxan-induced diabetic rats. The antidiabetic study was implemented by the induction of alloxan to the rats. The analysis of the hypolipidemic and liver-protective effects of fungus extracts was studied by estimating the lipid profile and the liver marker enzymes. Besides, in silico screening of the compounds of Ganoderma applanatum has been incorporated thus to check the binding affinity of compounds and enzymes affinity. The Discovery Studio 2020, UCSF Chimera, and PyRx AutoDock Vina have been used to implement the docking analysis. Nine days of oral feeding of MEGA and AEGA of Ganoderma applanatum resulted in a significant (p < .001) reduction in blood glucose, lipid profile, and liver marker enzymes. Besides, Myrocin C scored the highest score in the docking study. The biological and computational approaches suggested the MEGA and AEGA could be a potential source for antidiabetic, hypolipidemic, and hepatoprotective effects.

TL;DR: In this article, a design and detail analysis of a biogas-based power plant for commercial usage is described, and the cost analysis reveals that the proposed design is cost effective for Bangladesh.
Abstract: Energy is one of the major concerns for the increasing future of any nation and electricity is the most useful form of energy. Bangladesh enjoys an electricity distribution of 42% only. Bangladesh has a great potential for biogas production in respect of the availability of raw materials and climatic conditions and it is well substitute of natural gas. It is a great opportunity to use biogas as fuel of generator to generate electricity. This paper describes a design and detail analysis of a biogas based power plant for commercial usage. The cost analysis reveals that the proposed design is cost effective for Bangladesh.
