TL;DR: A deep learning based effective Bangla poem generation model that can generate any famous Bengali poet style poem is proposed that performs better for unigram, bigram, trigram where for bigram it gives the best outcomes against BLEU and GLEU more than 87% and Turing test 89% satisfactory level.
Abstract: This research proposes a deep learning based effective Bangla poem generation model that can generate any famous Bengali poet style poem. Unigram, bigram, and trigram word level approach has been followed to make the poem generation model, which is a very early study for this language. From various online website and social media about 35K Bangla poem containing more than 90 million words has been scrapped using python programming language. After preprocessing and tokenizing the data, text data is converted to the n-dimensional numerical vector space using word embedding tool. To build the language model various extension of Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) like LSTM, BiLSTM has experimented. Also, another merge mode for BiLSTM such as sum, avg, mul, concat has been tested. The generated poems are evaluated via various modern evaluation methods like BLEU, GLEU, and a Turing test. Among diverse neural network, BiLSTM performs better for unigram, bigram, trigram where for bigram it gives the best outcomes against BLEU and GLEU more than 87% and Turing test 89% satisfactory level. This study is an excellent contribution to the Bengali text generation research.

TL;DR: The purpose of this work is the design and implementation of a pervasive advertisement distribution platform for mobile devices which maximizes the relevance of advertisements sent to users while preserving their privacy.
Abstract: In pervasive advertising distribution systems, the relevance of advertisements sent to users is an aspect of paramount importance, because it benefits both the advertiser, who increases the likelihood of a purchase by the user, and the user itself, who uses the advertising channel with grater satisfaction. In order to send relevant advertisements, an advertiser must know the situation, the interests, the activities and the intentions of users: in one word, their context. However, the disposal of this personal information to advertisers has clear repercussions on users’ privacy. The purpose of this work is the design and implementation of a pervasive advertisement distribution platform for mobile devices which maximizes the relevance of advertisements sent to users while preserving their privacy. The relevance is computed by the means of ontological matching between the users and the advertisements’ contexts, while privacy is guaranteed by the fact that matching happens directly on the user’s mobile device, thus his context data are never sent to the advertisers.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the situations which lead Hamlet to hold a special kind of prejudice against women and examined the justification of his misogynistic remarks in the play "frailty, thy name is woman", concluding that Hamlet's view does not represent the general view of women in Shakespearean literature; rather it is a sweeping generalization of the misogyny of a young man who has, somehow, been betrayed by women in his life.
Abstract: This paper attempts to understand a remarkable point whether we can argue, quoting Hamlet's remark ‘frailty, thy name is woman', that Shakespeare is a misogynist. With that end in view it analyses the situations which lead Hamlet to hold a special kind of prejudice against women. Hence, it examines the justification of his misogynistic remarks in the play. Here the chief concern is whether it is Shakespeare's viewpoint or the view of his character Hamlet; and whether it is deep-rooted, well-thought one or momentary one. Some women characters in several other plays of Shakespeare have been studied, in an endeavor to compare their roles, and to see whether they all show weakness, or some of them surpass the male characters around them in their respective plays. The focus has always been simply on the point whether women are generally frail in the world of Shakespeare. The paper concludes that Hamlet's view does not represent the general view of women in Shakespearean literature; rather it is a sweeping generalization of the misogyny of a young man who has, somehow, been betrayed by women in his life. doi: 10.3329/iiucs.v3i0.2630 IIUC STUDIES Vol. - 3, December 2006 (p 31-44)

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a model to initiate the Islamic Microfinance and rehabilitation program by using the waqf funds for the slum and floating population in the Muslim countries.
Abstract: The waqf is an Islamic terminology that denotes the “religious bequest for charity purposes.” The main objective of this paper is to present a model to initiate the Islamic Microfinance and rehabilitation program by using the waqf funds for the slum and floating population in the Muslim countries. This paper has been prepared by collecting both primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected from Bangladesh while the secondary data were collected from various national and international sources. This paper suggested that, in addition to zakah and sadaqah; the waqf fund can also be used to introduce the Islamic Microfinance for the slum people and to rehabilitate them because the number of slum population and urban poverty has been growing among the Muslim countries gradually. This model will be executed by founding an independent Waqf Management institution by the joint venture of the government of the respective country and the national as well as International Islamic agency such as the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). Moreover, this model will be implemented through the five stages, these are the revival and registration of the waqf estate, accumulation of fund, initiating the Islamic Microfinance, rehabilitation of the slum people, and forward linkage that may help the slum people to engage and make contribution to the society. Though this model has some shortcomings, it may be a road map for starting the Islamic Microfinance and rehabilitation program by using the waqf funds for the slum and floating population.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors addressed future of tourism in Bangladesh based on current planning, investment, opportunities and future prospect, and summarized, synthesized, classified, and organized for introducing the theoretical application with the practical implication of tourism under this study, and showed that the exploitation of the opportunities depends on how well the respective authority is able to the meet the environmental and ecological challenges.
Abstract: The natural beauty, world heritage, and geographical location are the major attraction for tourism in Bangladesh. The government of Bangladesh industrializes tourism under Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC). Besides Bangladesh Tourism Board and National Hotel and Tourism Institute (NHTT) is also working for the growth and development of Tourism activities in Bangladesh. Prime objective of this chapter is to address future of tourism in Bangladesh based on current planning, investment, opportunities and future prospect. Past theory and literature were summarized, synthesized, classified, and organized for introducing the theoretical application with the practical implication of tourism in Bangladesh under this study. There is great opportunity for sustainable eco-tourism in different area of Bangladesh like coastal tourist region, especially Saint Martin, Sundarbans, and Cox’s Bazar. But the exploitation of the opportunities depends on how well the respective authority is able to the meet the environmental and ecological challenges. Infrastructural development, improved accommodation facilities, appropriate safety measures, tourist guide facilities, diversified food culture, and long-term policy will contribute in the future prospect and development of tourism in Bangladesh.
