Abstract: Currently, energy security and environmental cleanliness is becoming an important concern to the civilized world due to increasing population and global warming, which motiving the researcher towards finding the alternative energy resources instead of traditional energy source for power generation. Now, Waste-to-Energy technology (WtE) has earned a great deal of attention in developed countries for effective waste management system. It can also be used to address the energy problems in developing countries like Bangladesh. Even though there are several methods of WtE technologies but still finding a suitable technology is a bargaining question. Therefore, this study deals with the determination of more suitable and effective method among WtE technologies in perspective of our country economy, energy efficiency, and environmental aspects that can sustain with our future energy demand. From our study, we have determined Gasitication-based WtE technology as the more suitable method because of its operation flexibility, lower cost, higher efficiency, less GHG emissions, and simplicity in design. Thus, the energy produced in this method can contribute significantly to reduce our electricity shortage with effective waste management system and can be a building-block of a green-smart city.

Abstract: In this paper, A dual-band Defected Ground Structured (DGS), stub-slot configuration antenna is proposed for the 5G mid-band and upper unlicensed frequency region. High sensing gain, bandwidth, and stable radiation pattern are achieved by the proposed antenna that are the basic requirements of IoT applications that are available in 5G. The resonant frequency of this antenna is 3.532 GHz and 6.835 GHz where high realize gain, bandwidth and efficiency are 5.26 dB, 4.35 dB, 8.16%, 6.1% and 99.99%,85% respectively. The overall size of the antenna is 33.5x33.5x1.59. The Rogers RT/Duriod 6202 substrate material is used as a substrate.

Abstract: The objective of this study was to develop the degradation studies of different brands of Flunarizine dihydrochloride tablet available in market. Forced degradation is a process that involves degradation of drug products and drug substances at conditions more severe than accelerated conditions and thus generates degradation products that can be studied to determine the stability of the molecule. Flunarizine dihydrochloride is a calcium channel blocker which reduces arterial and arteriolar smooth muscle spasm by reducing intracellular Caoverload due to brain hypoxia. It is widely used in cerebral and peripheral vascular disorders and also as antihistaminic & sedative. This drug was subjected to different stress conditions as per International Conference on Harmonization guidelines (ICH). An ultraviolet UV spectroscopic method was developed for analysis of the drug in the presence of the degradation products. Ethanol was used as a solvent. The amount of degraded drugs was calculated by taking the absorbance at 253 nm. According to the assay limit of USP specified that the content should not be less than 95% and not more than 105% of labelled amount. In case of acidic pH and basic pH except Fluver amd Minium other brands were degraded. In addition to heat exposure only brand Norium was Stable. It was concluded that all brands werent degraded from ranges for all the stresses applied for degradation studies.

Abstract: Data collection from wireless sensor array or sensor network is essential for diverse applications such as weather monitoring, agriculture data monitoring etc. During wireless data communication, the communication channel may be subjected to channel noise and thus introduce transmission error which occurs receiving of misinformation about the situation. The main objective of this research is to develop a wireless data acquisition system which can collect data from wireless sensor array employing error detection and correction code. The transmission end of the system collects data from various sensors and then transmit them employing linear block code. The receiving unit receives the code word transmitted by transmitter circuit, check error, correct the error bits if any error occurs and finally decode data. The data is then stored in an SD card for further analysis. The system is tested for collecting data from a sensor array consisting of three sensors. The result shows that the system is capable of detecting and correcting an error to ensure error-free communication through a noisy channel.

Abstract: This paper represents an analytical expression for Incoherent crosstalk of optical add drop multiplexers (OADM) with Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) based on coupler and fiber Bragg grating (FBG). Analytical expressions for relative intensity noise (RIN), power penalty (PP) and bit error rate (BER) have been derived to analysis the incoherent crosstalk for this model. Results of the analysis show less crosstalk, low relative intensity noise, low power penalty and low bit error rate when a signal with Bragg wavelength is added. Performance of the model is also better than the current models.
