TL;DR: In this paper , the authors developed an IoT-based smart home to control specific devices and monitoring house using android mobile devices, where temperature, gas detection, and door lock can be visualized by the users from any mobile device.
Abstract: Internet of things (IoT) is a process of inter-networking of constitutional design, vehicles (also referred to as “connected devices” and “smart devices”), and various objects—included with software, electronics, actuators, sensors, and internetwork connectivity which is used to gather and interchange of data and information. IoT can control objective and gather information from distance across the network. Recently smart home systems attained more popularity to increase the quality of life where smartphone application plays an important role to monitor home apparatus using wireless communication. The target of this research is to developed an IoT-based smart home to control specific devices and monitoring house using android mobile devices. Featured that are used here is temperature, gas detection, and door lock. A channel, alarm system, door lock can be visualized by the users from any mobile device. If any change happened in the monitored data, the user will be notified.

TL;DR: This work presents a system which can measure weight, height, and calculate BMI of patients in a concise time with considerable accuracy and precision and believes that this system would be a great helping hand to quantify medical diagnosis and treatment.
Abstract: The developing countries like Bangladesh have not enough doctors to provide health service to their large population. Doctors are passing too much busy time in their chamber, and due to the shortage of time, it's not possible for them to measure weight, height, pulse rate, and BMI of their patient. But these essential parameters are directly related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Some doctors appoint an assistant to take these data, but to collect these data quickly, they frequently made mistakes. For this reason, we are presenting here a system which can measure weight, height, and calculate BMI of patients in a concise time with considerable accuracy and precision. These data are transferred to a device placed at doctors table. The device placed at the doctor's table can also measure the pulse rate, and all the parameters are shown in an LCD. Also, the device shows the patient health status following the ideal BMI chart. The system consists of a microcontroller, LCD display, RF transmitter-receiver, height sensor, weight sensor, and pulse sensor. We believe that this system would be a great helping hand to quantify medical diagnosis and treatment.

TL;DR: A 2x2 multiband patch antenna array is presented and it is designed and simulated by using CST Microwave Studio for the bands 24GHz-27GHz, 31-34GHz, 42GHz-48GHz, 50GHz-52GHz, 65GHz 68GHz, 82GHz-85GHz.
Abstract: In this paper, a 2x2 multiband patch antenna array is presented and it is designed and simulated by using CST Microwave Studio for the bands 24GHz-27GHz, 31-34GHz, 42GHz-48GHz, 50GHz-52GHz, 65GHz 68GHz, 82GHz-85GHz. The design of patch antennas is very efficient and widely used in wireless communication due to their lower cost of fabrication, light weight and can operate a microwave frequency but it offers low efficiency, low gain etc. Future upcoming 5G wireless communication is needed of high gain, good protection from path loss because of their millimeter wavelength, broadband performances of antennas. Similarly, the multiband antennas are highly desired to use a single antenna instead of multiple antennas for different bands. The antenna provides maximum and minimum gains of 15.63dB and 9.23dB at operating frequency 26.82 GHz and 34.60 GHz. The radiation efficiency is achieved 96% and above for all operating frequencies, total bandwidth of 11.84 GHz. The overall size of antenna is 20.66mmX22.56mmX0.67mm make it normed to work better by fulfilling the requirements for 5G communication.

TL;DR: In in silico methods, results showed that the drugs interact with each other and a careful concern is desired during simultaneous administration of Vildagliptin with Bisoprolol fumarate.
Abstract: Aim of the present study is to evaluate the in vitro , in vivo and in silico drug-drug interaction between Vildagliptin and Bisoprolol fumarate. Interaction between Vildagliptin and Bisoprolol fumarate has been studied in a system of water at a fixed 37 0 C at pH 1.0, 3.0 and 6.8 by using spectral observation, Job’s method of continuous variation, Ardon’s method. In silico complexation was measured by NMR prediction and DDI-CPI analysis. From spectrophotometric study, Vildagliptin and Bisoprolol fumarate give different spectra when Vildagliptin mixed with Bisoprolol fumarate in 1:1 mixture, intensity of spectra of Vildagliptin transform surprisingly due to interaction. The jobs plot was attained by plotting absorbance difference (D) against the mole fraction of the each drug at pH 1, 3, and 6.8. Vildagliptin moderate for 1:1 mixture with Bisoprolol fumarate and slightly lower spectra indicate the formation of 1:1 mixture of Vildagliptin with Bisoprolol fumarate. The value of stability constant for the drug-drug system at pH 1.0, 3.0 and 6.8 are 1.875 0.7778 and 1.2000 respectively. From the IR report it also proved that Vildagliptin and Bisoprolol fumarate produced interaction. In this OGTT test at 1:1, 1:2 and 2:1 complex blood glucose level decrease compared to Vildagliptin. Because when drug-drug interaction happened, then drug cannot exhibit its main activity. That’s why in this test complex showed different activity. In in silico methods, results showed that the drugs interact with each other. So, a careful concern is desired during simultaneous administration of Vildagliptin with Bisoprolol fumarate.
