Abstract: World Wide Web provides a powerful platform that stores and retrieves mass information. It becomes a time-consuming and uncomfortable task to search the information due to its unstructured and heterogeneous nature of data on the World Wide Web. Web mining is one of the popular techniques of data mining that is used to discover and extract useful information from web documents and its services. Web usage mining, web structure, and web content are three different categories of web data mining. Each of these categories has various methods, tools, and approaches to excerpt data from volume of information over the web. This review paper states various issues, while encountering information from the web and also states various problems occurred while finding appropriate information from the web. This paper also introduces different techniques and approaches of web content mining for different types of data. This paper also states various applications of web content mining.

Abstract: Bearing a long shiny heritage of cosmetic and beauty, range of makeup products are being used by women since ancient days and Indian women are no exception. Today it appears to be a booming industry in India and moving towards becoming the largest cosmetic consuming market in a next few decades. The cosmetics market in India is growing at 15-20% annually, twice as fast as that of the U. S. and European markets. Many Internationals and National companies are expanding their product range in response to the growing demand of Beauty Products by different strata of consumers. Teenagers have become more conscious about their appearance than ever before and skin whitening products are driving the trend in Indian market. Through this Research the researchers have made a humble attempt to predict the shopping related behavior of women for beauty products and the Impact Visual Merchandising can have on store selection and purchase decision. Quantitative techniques of Research are used in this research and women of major four cities of Gujarat are surveyed through a structured questionnaire. The Research findings reveal that impulse purchase is an excitement creating factor for women while shopping of beauty products. The stores with attractive lighting, eye-catching display and clean- soothing environ surely can hold attention of customers and have more people visiting it compared to their counter parts.

Abstract: Never-ending desire to have better health care has enabled several ways out for improving the biodistribution and aqueous solubility of conventional drugs Consequently, rigorous investigations have been and are being conducted to ensure site-specific drug delivery with minimal structural degradation till a drug reaches its targeted location Designing self-adjusting and response tunable drug delivery systems capable of tolerating physiological fluctuations has been the prime focus of present-day health-care research In this context, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as significant advancements, characterized by their high pore volumes, large surface areas, multiple topologies, and dynamic surface chemistry The chief attributes of MOFs making them astute drug carriers include their exceptionally high porosity extents (up to 90% of free volume) and functionalization abilities Apart from this, inherent structural stability through self-assembly enabled linkage of connector and an organic linker, through a strong covalent bond, imparts them porous crystalline morphology for transporting significant drug payloads Structural similarity with metal coordination complexes alongside modifiable pore sizes and splendid functionalization extents are the major distinctions propelling MOFs’ utility-based advancement in drug delivery Nevertheless, optimizations ensuring safe drug delivery, along with lowest side effects and sustained release profile, have moderate the commercial acceptance of MOFs With such insights, this chapter focuses on the distinctive structural aspects of MOFs pertaining to their drug delivery advances

Abstract: In present day, availability of various carriers, innovative techniques of production and plenty of solvents support the growth of solid dispersion (SD) technology in pharmaceutical industries to overcome many issues. The present study was aimed to develop SD based sustained release system of Milnacipran HCl (MH). The SD containing ethyl cellulose, Eudragit RLPO and Eudragit RSPO at drug–polymer ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 were developed using solvent evaporation technique and different waxes at ratio of 1:1, 1:1.25, 1:1.5 and 1:1.75 with drug were developed by melting method. The physicochemical properties of SD were evaluated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The desired SD batch was further compressed into tablet unit to achieve predetermined once a day drug release. Tablets prepared were evaluated for physicochemical parameters, in vitro drug release, drug release kinetics and scanning electron microscopy. Out of selected carriers, bees wax had shown maximum release retardation. The results of FTIR, DSC and XRD studies exhibited poor interaction amongst MH–bees wax and retention of crystalline state of MH in SD system. The presence of Benecel® (HPMC K 200 M; 75 mg) in tablets comprising SD (1:1.25, MH:bees wax) revealed remarkable drug release extension and it was considered an optimal. The later was submitted to short term stability study and its results indicated the stable characteristic of system. Drug release from optimized formulation fitted well into Higuchi model with anomalous diffusion. The compressed unit of SD system of highly water soluble drug can be successful single day regimen.
