TL;DR: In this article, a chemical conversion coating with high corrosion resistance (CR) and low electrical contact resistance (ECR) on AZ91D Mg alloy was presented, which is attributed to the unique microstructure of conversion coating, i.e., β phase protruded from the surface and covered by a thinner passive film about 30 nm, contributing to low ECR, meanwhile, a thicker coating of 200-300 nm without cracks was deposited on α-phase, providing a good corrosion resistance.

TL;DR: In this article, an adaptive localized decision variable analysis approach under the decomposition-based framework is proposed to solve the large-scale multiobjective and many-objective optimization problems (MaOPs).
Abstract: This article proposes an adaptive localized decision variable analysis approach under the decomposition-based framework to solve the large-scale multiobjective and many-objective optimization problems (MaOPs). Its main idea is to incorporate the guidance of reference vectors into the control variable analysis and optimize the decision variables using an adaptive strategy. Especially, in the control variable analysis, for each search direction, the convergence relevance degree of each decision variable is measured by a projection-based detection method. In the decision variable optimization, the grouped decision variables are optimized with an adaptive scalarization strategy, which is able to adaptively balance the convergence and diversity of the solutions in the objective space. The proposed algorithm is evaluated with a suite of test problems with 2-10 objectives and 200-1000 variables. Experimental results validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm on the large-scale multiobjective and MaOPs.

TL;DR: Comparisons show that the proposed new authentication protocol for wireless sensor networks using elliptic curves cryptography is more suitable for WSNs.
Abstract: User authentication in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is a critical security issue due to their unattended and hostile deployment in the field. Since sensor nodes are equipped with limited computing power, storage, and communication modules, authenticating remote users in such resource-constrained environments is a paramount security concern. To overcome the weaknesses of Yeh et al.’s protocol, we proposed a new authentication protocol for wireless sensor networks using elliptic curves cryptography. The comparisons show that our protocol is more suitable for WSNs.

TL;DR: It is found that the adsorption capacity of Fe(3)O(4) particles increased with decreasing the particle size or increasing the surface area, and can absorb almost all of the metal ions in the contaminated water with the adsorbent capacity of 34.93 mg/g, which is approximately 7 times higher than that using the coarse particles.
