TL;DR: An adaptive fuzzy hierarchical sliding-mode control method for a class of multiinput multioutput unknown nonlinear time-delay systems with input saturation is proposed and theoretically proved that all the signals in the closed-loop system together with the proposed sliding surfaces are uniformly ultimately bounded under the designed adaptive fuzzy controllers.
Abstract: In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy hierarchical sliding-mode control method for a class of multiinput multioutput unknown nonlinear time-delay systems with input saturation is proposed. The studied system is first transformed into an equivalent system. Subsequently, based on sliding-mode control technology and the concept of hierarchical design, a set of adaptive fuzzy hierarchical sliding-mode controllers are designed for the new defined system by using fuzzy systems to approximate uncertain functions and compensate input saturation. Choosing an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii function, it is theoretically proved that all the signals in the closed-loop system together with the proposed sliding surfaces are uniformly ultimately bounded under our designed adaptive fuzzy controllers. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design techniques for the systems under consideration.

TL;DR: It is shown that a unified controller design framework is derived for the CDN with or without coupling delays, and the asymptotic convergence of synchronization errors is analyzed by combining algebraic graph theory and Lyapunov theory.
Abstract: This paper is concerned with the problem of synchronization control of complex dynamical networks (CDN) subject to nonlinear couplings and uncertainties An fuzzy logical system-based adaptive distributed controller is designed to achieve the synchronization The asymptotic convergence of synchronization errors is analyzed by combining algebraic graph theory and Lyapunov theory In contrast to the existing results, the proposed synchronization control method is applicable for the CDN with system uncertainties and unknown topology Especially, the considered uncertainties are allowed to occur in the node local dynamics as well as in the interconnections of different nodes In addition, it is shown that a unified controller design framework is derived for the CDN with or without coupling delays Finally, simulations on a Chua’s circuit network are provided to validate the effectiveness of the theoretical results

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper analyzed the Shanghai stock price index daily returns using MF-DFA method and found that there are two different sources for multifractality in time series, namely, fat-tailed probability distributions and non-linear temporal correlations.
Abstract: Analyzing the Shanghai stock price index daily returns using MF-DFA method, it is found that there are two different types of sources for multifractality in time series, namely, fat-tailed probability distributions and non-linear temporal correlations. Based on that, a sliding window of 240 frequency data in 5 trading days was used to study stock price index fluctuation. It is found that when the stock price index fluctuates sharply, a strong variability is clearly characterized by the generalized Hurst exponents h ( q ) . Therefore, two measures, Δ h and σ , based on generalized Hurst exponents were proposed to compare financial risks before and after Price Limits and Reform of Non-tradable Shares. The empirical results verify the validity of the measures, and this has led to a better understanding of complex stock markets.
