TLDR
In this paper, a simple and widely accepted multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type is presented, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a time until no further rejections can be done.
Abstract
This paper presents a simple and widely ap- plicable multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a tine until no further rejections can be done. It is shown that the test has a prescribed level of significance protection against error of the first kind for any combination of true hypotheses. The power properties of the test and a number of possible applications are also discussed.

Fluorouracil versus combination of irinotecan plus cisplatin versus S-1 in metastatic gastric cancer: a randomised phase 3 study.

TL;DR: S-1 is non-inferior to fluorouracil and, in view of the convenience of an oral administration, could replace intravenous fluoroursacil for treatment of unresectable or recurrent gastric cancer, at least in Asia.

Is the oxidative stress theory of aging dead

TL;DR: Because only one (the deletion of the Sod1 gene) of the 18 genetic manipulations studied had an effect on lifespan, the hypothesis that alterations in oxidative damage/stress play a role in the longevity of mice is called into serious question.

Quantitative Trait Locus (QTL) Mapping Using Different Testers and Independent Population Samples in Maize Reveals Low Power of QTL Detection and Large Bias in Estimates of QTL Effects

TL;DR: It is concluded that, unless QTL effects are estimated from an independent sample, they can be inflated, resulting in an overly optimistic assessment of the efficiency of MAS.

Escaping the Bonferroni iron claw in ecological studies

TL;DR: It is concluded that some reasonable control of alpha inflation is required of authors as a safeguard against striking, but spurious findings, which may strongly affect the credibility of ecological research.

A Multiple Comparison Procedure for Comparing Several Treatments with a Control

TL;DR: In this article, a multiple comparison procedure for comparing several treatments with a control is presented, which is based on the Multiple Comparison Procedure for Comparing Several Treatments with a Control (MCPC).

Simultaneous Statistical Inference

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a case of two means regression method for the family error rate, which was used to estimate the probability of a family having a nonzero family error.

Simultaneous test procedures-some theory of multiple comparisons'

TL;DR: The Simultaneous Test Procedure (STP) as discussed by the authors is a generalization of the notion of multiple comparisons for means, which was originally proposed by Aitchison and Roy.
