TLDR
In this paper, a simple and widely accepted multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type is presented, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a time until no further rejections can be done.
Abstract
This paper presents a simple and widely ap- plicable multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a tine until no further rejections can be done. It is shown that the test has a prescribed level of significance protection against error of the first kind for any combination of true hypotheses. The power properties of the test and a number of possible applications are also discussed.

Modification of slow cortical potentials in patients with refractory epilepsy: a controlled outcome study.

TL;DR: To compare self‐regulation of low‐frequency EEG components (slow cortical potentials, SCPs) with other methods of seizure control for patients with drug‐refractory partial epilepsy and to separate the real anticonvulsive effect from placebo effects is compared.

Widespread Aggregation and Neurodegenerative Diseases Are Associated with Supersaturated Proteins

TL;DR: This work identifies the proteins most vulnerable to aggregation as those whose cellular concentrations are high relative to their solubilities and finds that these supersaturated proteins represent a metastable subproteome involved in pathological aggregation during stress and aging and are overrepresented in biochemical processes associated with neurodegenerative disorders.

Analysis of variance frameworks in clinical child and adolescent psychology: issues and recommendations.

TL;DR: Already existing practices of factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA), a major analytic tool used in clinical child and adolescent psychology, in the Journal of Clinical Child Psychology, are reviewed and several suboptimal strategies are noted.

A Comprehensive Analysis of Deep Regression

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors performed a systematic evaluation and statistical analysis of vanilla deep regression, i.e., convolutional neural networks with a linear regression top layer, and reported confidence intervals for the median performance as well as the statistical significance of the results, if any.

A controlled, powerful multiple-comparison strategy for several situations.

TL;DR: The multiple-comparison procedure originally proposed by R. A. Fisher (1935) for the 1-way analysis of variance context has several desirable properties when K (the number of groups) is equal to 3 as mentioned in this paper.

A Multiple Comparison Procedure for Comparing Several Treatments with a Control

TL;DR: In this article, a multiple comparison procedure for comparing several treatments with a control is presented, which is based on the Multiple Comparison Procedure for Comparing Several Treatments with a Control (MCPC).

Simultaneous Statistical Inference

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a case of two means regression method for the family error rate, which was used to estimate the probability of a family having a nonzero family error.

Simultaneous test procedures-some theory of multiple comparisons'

TL;DR: The Simultaneous Test Procedure (STP) as discussed by the authors is a generalization of the notion of multiple comparisons for means, which was originally proposed by Aitchison and Roy.
