A Simple Sequentially Rejective Multiple Test Procedure
TLDR
In this paper, a simple and widely accepted multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type is presented, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a time until no further rejections can be done.Abstract:
This paper presents a simple and widely ap- plicable multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a tine until no further rejections can be done. It is shown that the test has a prescribed level of significance protection against error of the first kind for any combination of true hypotheses. The power properties of the test and a number of possible applications are also discussed.read more

Transition of Extremely Low-Birth-Weight Infants From Adolescence to Young Adulthood: Comparison With Normal Birth-Weight Controls
Saroj Saigal,Barbara Stoskopf,David L. Streiner,Michael H. Boyle,Janet Pinelli,Nigel Paneth,John H. Goddeeris +6 more
TL;DR: A significant majority of former ELBW infants have overcome their earlier difficulties to become functional young adults, and no statistically significant differences were observed in the education achieved to date.

The pregnancy hormone relaxin is a player in human heart failure
Thomas Dschietzig,Christoph Richter,Cornelia Bartsch,Michael Laule,Franz Paul Armbruster,Gert Baumann,Karl Stangl +6 more
TL;DR: The first evidence that relaxin (RLX), known as a pregnancy hormone, represents a potential compensatory mediator in human heart failure is provided: plasma concentrations of RLX and myocardial expression of the two RLX genes correlate with the severity of disease and RLX responds to therapy.

Blending Physical and Virtual Manipulatives: An Effort to Improve Students' Conceptual Understanding through Science Laboratory Experimentation
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the effect of experimenting with physical manipulatives (PM), virtual manipulative (VM), and a blended combination of PM and VM on undergraduate students' understanding of concepts in the domain of Light and Color.

The impacts of international migration on remaining household members : omnibus results from a migration lottery program
TL;DR: The impacts of international migration on remaining household members of Tongan emigrants on individual and intra-household level income falls rapidly, by 22 to 25 percent, with a rise in remittances failing to offset a large fall in labor earnings.

Non-parametric combination and related permutation tests for neuroimaging.

TL;DR: This work proposes and evaluates a modification of the recently introduced non‐parametric combination (NPC) methodology, such that instead of a two‐phase algorithm and large data storage requirements, the inference can be performed in a single phase, with reasonable computational demands.

Simultaneous test procedures-some theory of multiple comparisons'
TL;DR: The Simultaneous Test Procedure (STP) as discussed by the authors is a generalization of the notion of multiple comparisons for means, which was originally proposed by Aitchison and Roy.
