A Simple Sequentially Rejective Multiple Test Procedure
TLDR
In this paper, a simple and widely accepted multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type is presented, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a time until no further rejections can be done.Abstract:
This paper presents a simple and widely ap- plicable multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a tine until no further rejections can be done. It is shown that the test has a prescribed level of significance protection against error of the first kind for any combination of true hypotheses. The power properties of the test and a number of possible applications are also discussed.read more

Identification of viable embryos in IVF by non-invasive measurement of amino acid turnover
Daniel R. Brison,Franchesca D. Houghton,Debbie A. Falconer,Stephen A Roberts,Judith A. Hawkhead,Peter G. Humpherson,Brian A. Lieberman,Henry J. Leese +7 more
TL;DR: Non-invasive assay of amino acid turnover has the potential to improve significantly the prospective selection of the most viable embryos, or single embryo, for replacement in an IVF cycle.

p-Values for High-Dimensional Regression
TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that inference across multiple random splits can be aggregated while maintaining asymptotic control over the inclusion of noise variables, and they show that the resulting p-values can be used for control of both family-wise error a...

Controlling the False Discovery Rate: A New Application to Account for Multiple and Dependent Tests in Local Statistics of Spatial Association
TL;DR: In this article, a new criterion, the false discovery rate (FDR), was proposed to control the proportion of false declarations of significance among those individual deviations from null hypotheses considered to be significant.

Globalization and the population structure of Toxoplasma gondii
TL;DR: The evidence suggests that South American and Eurasian populations have evolved separately until recently, when ships populated by rats, mice, and cats provided T. gondii with unprecedented migration opportunities, probably during the transatlantic slave trade.

The Heavy Burden of Psychiatric Comorbidity in Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders: A Large Comparative Study of a Psychiatrically Referred Population

TL;DR: Youth with ASD have high levels of psychiatric comorbidity and dysfunction comparable to the referred population of youth without ASD, and may be important targets for intervention.

Simultaneous Statistical Inference
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a case of two means regression method for the family error rate, which was used to estimate the probability of a family having a nonzero family error.

Simultaneous test procedures-some theory of multiple comparisons'
TL;DR: The Simultaneous Test Procedure (STP) as discussed by the authors is a generalization of the notion of multiple comparisons for means, which was originally proposed by Aitchison and Roy.
