A Simple Sequentially Rejective Multiple Test Procedure
TLDR
In this paper, a simple and widely accepted multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type is presented, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a time until no further rejections can be done.Abstract:
This paper presents a simple and widely ap- plicable multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a tine until no further rejections can be done. It is shown that the test has a prescribed level of significance protection against error of the first kind for any combination of true hypotheses. The power properties of the test and a number of possible applications are also discussed.read more

Latitudinal population differentiation in phenology, life history and flower morphology in the perennial herb Lythrum salicaria
Katarina Olsson,Jon Ågren +1 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the among‐population differences in phenology and life history have evolved in response to latitudinal variation in length of the growing season and whether population differentiation in flower morphology is maintained by selection.

Some probability inequalities for ordered $\rm MTP\sb 2$ random variables: a proof of the Simes conjecture
TL;DR: In this paper, new probability inequalities involving the ordered components of an $MTP_2$ random vector are derived, which provide an analytical proof of an important conjecture in the field of multiple hypothesis testing.

Quantifying incoherence in speech: An automated methodology and novel application to schizophrenia
TL;DR: In conclusion, LSA can be used to assay disordered language production so as to both complement human clinical ratings as well as experimentally parse this incoherence in a theory-driven manner.

TL;DR: In patients with early axial spondyloarthritis active inflammatory lesions detected by whole-body MRI improved significantly more in etanercept versus sulfasalazine-treated patients, and correlated with a good clinical response in the etanorcept group.

The association of neuropsychiatric symptoms in MCI with incident dementia and Alzheimer disease.
Paul B. Rosenberg,Michelle M. Mielke,Brian S. Appleby,Esther S. Oh,Yonas E. Geda,Constantine G. Lyketsos +5 more
TL;DR: Neuropsychiatric symptoms in MCI are associated with significantly an increased risk of incident dementia and AD and targeting them therapeutically might delay transition to dementia.

Simultaneous test procedures-some theory of multiple comparisons'
TL;DR: The Simultaneous Test Procedure (STP) as discussed by the authors is a generalization of the notion of multiple comparisons for means, which was originally proposed by Aitchison and Roy.
