A Simple Sequentially Rejective Multiple Test Procedure
TLDR
In this paper, a simple and widely accepted multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type is presented, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a time until no further rejections can be done.Abstract:
This paper presents a simple and widely ap- plicable multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a tine until no further rejections can be done. It is shown that the test has a prescribed level of significance protection against error of the first kind for any combination of true hypotheses. The power properties of the test and a number of possible applications are also discussed.read more

Treatment of active ankylosing spondylitis with infliximab: a randomised controlled multicentre trial
Jürgen Braun,J. Brandt,Joachim Listing,A. Zink,Rieke Alten,W. Golder,E Gromnica-lhle,Herbert Kellner,A Krause,Matthias Schneider,H Sörensen,Henning Zeidler,W Thriene,Joachim Sieper +13 more
TL;DR: The results show that treatment with infliximab is effective in patients with active ankylosing spondylitis, and since there are some potentially serious adverse effects, it is recommended that this treatment mainly be used in co-operation with rheumatological centres.

A Linear Non-Gaussian Acyclic Model for Causal Discovery
TL;DR: This work shows how to discover the complete causal structure of continuous-valued data, under the assumptions that (a) the data generating process is linear, (b) there are no unobserved confounders, and (c) disturbance variables have non-Gaussian distributions of non-zero variances.

A stagewise rejective multiple test procedure based on a modified Bonferroni test
TL;DR: In this article, a multiple test procedure allowing statements on individual hypotheses is proposed, based on the principle of closed test procedures (Marcus, Peritz & Gabriel, 1976) and controls the multiple level a.

TL;DR: The aim of this international Working Party was to develop a simple classification of Crohn's disease based on objective variables, and the allocation of patients to these 24 subgroups proved feasible and resulted in specific disease clusters.

Multiple Hypothesis Testing in Microarray Experiments
TL;DR: In this paper, different approaches to multiple hypothesis testing in the context of DNA microarray experiments and compared the procedures on microarray and simulated data sets are discussed. And the authors discuss different approaches for differentially expressing genes.

Simultaneous test procedures-some theory of multiple comparisons'
TL;DR: The Simultaneous Test Procedure (STP) as discussed by the authors is a generalization of the notion of multiple comparisons for means, which was originally proposed by Aitchison and Roy.
