A Simple Sequentially Rejective Multiple Test Procedure
TLDR
In this paper, a simple and widely accepted multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type is presented, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a time until no further rejections can be done.Abstract:
This paper presents a simple and widely ap- plicable multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a tine until no further rejections can be done. It is shown that the test has a prescribed level of significance protection against error of the first kind for any combination of true hypotheses. The power properties of the test and a number of possible applications are also discussed.read more

Quantitative trait loci for life span in Drosophila melanogaster: interactions with genetic background and larval density.
Jeff Leips,Mark T. Mackay +1 more
TL;DR: The genetic architecture of variation in adult life span was examined for a population of recombinant inbred lines, each of which had been crossed to both inbred parental strains from which the lines were derived, after emergence from both high and low larval density.

A review of modern multiple hypothesis testing, with particular attention to the false discovery proportion
TL;DR: This paper attempts to review research in modern multiple hypothesis testing with particular attention to the false discovery proportion, loosely defined as the number of false rejections divided by thenumber of rejections.

Aerobic scope fails to explain the detrimental effects on growth resulting from warming and elevated CO2 in Atlantic halibut

TL;DR: It is shown that aerobic scope and cardiac performance of Atlantic halibut (Hippoglossus hippoglossu) increase following 14–16 weeks exposure to elevated temperatures and even more so in combination with CO2-acidified seawater, demonstrating that oxygen uptake is not the limiting factor for growth performance at high temperatures.

Inferences about the location of food in the great apes (Pan paniscus, Pan troglodytes, Gorilla gorilla, and Pongo pygmaeus).
TL;DR: Bonobos, chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans were presented with 2 cups and understood that the food caused the noise, not simply that the noise was associated with the food.
