TLDR
In this paper, a simple and widely accepted multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type is presented, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a time until no further rejections can be done.
Abstract
This paper presents a simple and widely ap- plicable multiple test procedure of the sequentially rejective type, i.e. hypotheses are rejected one at a tine until no further rejections can be done. It is shown that the test has a prescribed level of significance protection against error of the first kind for any combination of true hypotheses. The power properties of the test and a number of possible applications are also discussed.

Prolonged restraint stress increases IL-6, reduces IL-10, and causes persistent depressive-like behavior that is reversed by recombinant IL-10.

TL;DR: One of the first reports describing the biological and behavioral impact following prolonged RST is provided and details on the correlation between responses to chronic RST and those seen in depressive disorders are provided.

Descriptive data analysis: a concept between confirmatory and exploratory data analysis.

TL;DR: This paper is proposed to fill the conceptual gap between CDA and EDA by “Descriptive Data Analysis” (“DDA”) which concept is mainly based on descriptive inferential statements.

Two hybrid wrapper-filter feature selection algorithms applied to high-dimensional microarray experiments

TL;DR: Two new, simple, and efficient hybrid FS algorithms, called respectively BDE- X Rank and BDE - X Rank f, are presented, which combine a wrapper FS method based on a Binary Differential Evolution (BDE) algorithm with a rank-based filter FS method.

Pharmacogenetic Analysis of Lithium-induced Delayed Aging in Caenorhabditis elegans*

TL;DR: A pharmacogenetic study of Li+ in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans shows that exposure to Li+ at clinically relevant concentrations throughout adulthood increases survival during normal aging and regulates survival by modulating histone methylation and chromatin structure.

Detecting Differentially Expressed Genes in Microarrays Using Bayesian Model Selection

TL;DR: A new method for detecting differentially expressed genes based on a high-dimensional model selection technique, Bayesian ANOVA for microarrays (BAM), which strikes a balance between false rejections and false nonrejections.

A Multiple Comparison Procedure for Comparing Several Treatments with a Control

TL;DR: In this article, a multiple comparison procedure for comparing several treatments with a control is presented, which is based on the Multiple Comparison Procedure for Comparing Several Treatments with a Control (MCPC).

Simultaneous Statistical Inference

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a case of two means regression method for the family error rate, which was used to estimate the probability of a family having a nonzero family error.

Simultaneous test procedures-some theory of multiple comparisons'

TL;DR: The Simultaneous Test Procedure (STP) as discussed by the authors is a generalization of the notion of multiple comparisons for means, which was originally proposed by Aitchison and Roy.
