TLDR
Z-Tree as mentioned in this paper is a toolbox for ready-made economic experiments, which allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time and is stable and easy to use.
Abstract
z-Tree (Zurich Toolbox for Ready-made Economic Experiments) is a software for developing and conducting economic experiments. The software is stable and allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time. In this article, I present the guiding principles behind the software design, its features, and its limitations.

Risk and Rationality: Uncovering Heterogeneity in Probability Distortion

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a parsimonious characterization of risk taking behavior by estimating a finite mixture regression model for three different experimental data sets, two Swiss and one Chinese, over a large number of real gains and losses.

Social Preferences and Supply Chain Performance: An Experimental Study

TL;DR: Experimental evidence is provided that social preferences systematically affect economic decision making in supply chain transactions, such that relationship preference promotes cooperation, individual performance, and high system efficiency, sustainable over time; whereas status preference induces tough actions and reduces both system efficiency and individual performance.

Inequality, Communication and the Avoidance of Disastrous Climate Change in a Public Goods Game

TL;DR: In this article, a group of people who can reach a fixed target sum through successive money contributions, knowing that if they fail, they will lose all their remaining money with 50% probability, were given the option to communicate intended contributions.

Is Pay for Performance Detrimental to Innovation

TL;DR: Hsu et al. as mentioned in this paper found evidence that the combination of tolerance for early failure and reward for long-term success is effective in motivating innovation and explore more and are more likely to discover a novel business strategy than subjects under fixed-wage and standard pay-for-performance incentive schemes.

Traders' Expectations in Asset Markets: Experimental Evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors elicit traders' predictions of future price trajectories in repeated experimental markets for a 15-period-lived asset and find that individuals' beliefs about prices are adaptive, and primarily based on past trends in the current and previous markets in which they have participated.

A simple mechanism for the efficient provision of public goods - experimental evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments designed to investigate the factor of incentive mechanisms in the case of private provisions of public goods is presented. But the results showed that the proposed incentive mechanism is very promising.

RatImage - research Assistance Toolbox for Computer-Aided Human Behavior Experiments

TL;DR: RatImage contains Borland Turbo Pascal constans, variables, functions, and procedures which, when used, relieve programmers of many tedious and complex tasks, like graphical output, keyboard handling, mouse control, file access, and network communication.
