TLDR
Z-Tree as mentioned in this paper is a toolbox for ready-made economic experiments, which allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time and is stable and easy to use.
Abstract
z-Tree (Zurich Toolbox for Ready-made Economic Experiments) is a software for developing and conducting economic experiments. The software is stable and allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time. In this article, I present the guiding principles behind the software design, its features, and its limitations.

The Control Premium: A Preference for Payoff Autonomy †

TL;DR: Owens et al. as discussed by the authors found that participants are 20% more likely to choose to control their payoff than a group of payoff-maximizers with accurate beliefs, while some of this deviation is explained by overconfidence, 34% of it can only be explained by the control premium.

The impact of naïve advice and observational learning in beauty-contest games

TL;DR: This paper study the impact of advice or observation on the depth of reasoning in an experimental beauty-contest game and find that subjects who receive naive advice outperform uninformed subjects permanently, whereas subjects who observe others' past behavior before making their decision do only have a temporary advantage over uninformed ones.

On the Nature of Fair Behavior

TL;DR: The authors showed that identical offers in an ultimatum game generate systematically different rejection rates depending on the other offers that are available to the proposer, which casts doubt on the consequentialist practice in economics to define the utility of an action solely in terms of the consequences of the action irrespective of the set of alternatives.

Conformity in the lab

TL;DR: In this paper, a revealed preference approach was used to disentangle conformity, an intrinsic taste to follow others, from information-driven herding, and the results showed that conformist behavior is not driven by inequality aversion, nor by strategic voting behavior in which voters balance others who are uninformed.

Living in two neighborhoods—social interaction effects in the laboratory

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate social interaction effects in two experimental games, which represent the two broad classes of strategic situations mentioned above -a coordination game that possesses multiple equilibria in material payoffs and a cooperation game which has only one equilibrium in material payoff structure.

A simple mechanism for the efficient provision of public goods - experimental evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments designed to investigate the factor of incentive mechanisms in the case of private provisions of public goods is presented. But the results showed that the proposed incentive mechanism is very promising.

RatImage - research Assistance Toolbox for Computer-Aided Human Behavior Experiments

TL;DR: RatImage contains Borland Turbo Pascal constans, variables, functions, and procedures which, when used, relieve programmers of many tedious and complex tasks, like graphical output, keyboard handling, mouse control, file access, and network communication.
