TLDR
Z-Tree as mentioned in this paper is a toolbox for ready-made economic experiments, which allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time and is stable and easy to use.
Abstract
z-Tree (Zurich Toolbox for Ready-made Economic Experiments) is a software for developing and conducting economic experiments. The software is stable and allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time. In this article, I present the guiding principles behind the software design, its features, and its limitations.

Endowment Effects in Contests

TL;DR: The authors found that overbidding is significantly higher when subjects are given a large per-experiment endowment rather than when the endowment is given per-period, and that risk-aversion and non-monetary utility of winning play important roles in explaining their findings.

The determinants of managerial decisions under risk

TL;DR: The authors found that leaders overrule their teams in 35% of cases and such decisions are primarily driven by divergent preferences of leaders and the other team members, and that male, younger and more risk seeking (as opposed to female, older, more risk averse) leaders over-approximate decisions of ordinary team members more often.

Viewing the future through a warped lens: Why uncertainty generates hyperbolic discounting

TL;DR: In this article, a large body of experimental research has demonstrated that, on average, people violate the axioms of expected utility theory as well as of discounted utility theory, and that aggregate behavior is best characterized by probability distortions and hyperbolic discounting.

How much Priority Bonus Should be Given to Registered Organ Donors? An Experimental Analysis

TL;DR: This paper provides a comparative-statics analysis of the priority treatment by varying the number of bonus periods a registered person can skip on the waiting list and indicates that a higher number of Bonus periods significantly improves registration rates.

Is the veil of ignorance only a concept about risk? An experiment

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of risk and social preferences behind the Rawlsian veil of ignorance in the laboratory were analyzed. But only a minority act according to maximin preferences.

A simple mechanism for the efficient provision of public goods - experimental evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments designed to investigate the factor of incentive mechanisms in the case of private provisions of public goods is presented. But the results showed that the proposed incentive mechanism is very promising.
