TLDR
Z-Tree as mentioned in this paper is a toolbox for ready-made economic experiments, which allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time and is stable and easy to use.
Abstract
z-Tree (Zurich Toolbox for Ready-made Economic Experiments) is a software for developing and conducting economic experiments. The software is stable and allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time. In this article, I present the guiding principles behind the software design, its features, and its limitations.

Increasing organ donation via changes in the default choice or allocation rule

TL;DR: In this paper, a laboratory experiment was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of alternative public policies targeted at increasing the rate of deceased donor organ donation, including treatments across different default choices and organ allocation rules inspired by the donor registration systems applied in different countries.

Can Competition Spoil Reciprocity? A Laboratory Experiment

TL;DR: The authors investigated how group membership and competition among trustors interact with trust and trustworthiness in a laboratory one-shot trust game and found that introducing competition leads to a decrease in trustworthiness, especially among partners.

Doing good or doing harm: experimental evidence on giving and taking in public good games

TL;DR: This paper found that agents behave more selfishly when taking from a public account than when giving to a public good, and that a pure extension of the action space into the taking domain also leads to a significant increase in selfish behavior.

Rankings and Risk-Taking in the Finance Industry

TL;DR: This article found that both rankings and tournament incentives increase risk-taking among underperforming professionals, but not among students, and that rank-driven risk taking is robust to various experimental settings, including private identity priming and framing, and related to preferences for relative per-formance.

On the acceptance of apologies

TL;DR: In a laboratory experiment it is found that harmdoers use apologies in particular if they fear punishment and when their intentions cannot be easily inferred, and after offenses with ambiguous intentionality apologizers are punished less often than nonapologizers.

A simple mechanism for the efficient provision of public goods - experimental evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments designed to investigate the factor of incentive mechanisms in the case of private provisions of public goods is presented. But the results showed that the proposed incentive mechanism is very promising.
