TLDR
Z-Tree as mentioned in this paper is a toolbox for ready-made economic experiments, which allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time and is stable and easy to use.
Abstract
z-Tree (Zurich Toolbox for Ready-made Economic Experiments) is a software for developing and conducting economic experiments. The software is stable and allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time. In this article, I present the guiding principles behind the software design, its features, and its limitations.

Cooperation in local and global groups

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the tension that arises when subjects belong to a smaller local and a larger global group within a voluntary contribution environment and find that when the global public good is more efficient individuals first attempt to cooperate in the local public good.

The Experimental Turn in Economics : A History of Experimental Economics

TL;DR: Experimental economics as mentioned in this paper is a field within economics that from its beginnings in the 1960s and early 1970s has continuously studied economic phenomena and theories through the application of the experimental method.

Personal values and prosocial behaviour in strategic interactions: Distinguishing value‐expressive from value‐ambivalent behaviours

TL;DR: The authors investigated whether personal values can help explain prosocial behavior and found that personal values, universalism in particular, predict value-expressive (prisoner's dilemma cooperation and trust game back-transfers) but not value-ambivalent (trust game transfers and ultimatum game proposals and responses).

Rank matters–The impact of social competition on portfolio choice

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate how relative performance-based incentive schemes and status concerns for higher rank influence portfolio choice in laboratory experiments and find that both underperformers and over-performerers adapt their portfolios to their current relative performance, preferring either positively or negatively skewed assets, respectively.

Inequality, Communication and the Avoidance of Disastrous Climate Change

TL;DR: It is found that inequality reduces the prospects of reaching the target but that communication increases success dramatically, and early redistribution from richer to poorer nations are both decisive for the avoidance of global calamities, such as disruptive climate change.

A simple mechanism for the efficient provision of public goods - experimental evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments designed to investigate the factor of incentive mechanisms in the case of private provisions of public goods is presented. But the results showed that the proposed incentive mechanism is very promising.

RatImage - research Assistance Toolbox for Computer-Aided Human Behavior Experiments

TL;DR: RatImage contains Borland Turbo Pascal constans, variables, functions, and procedures which, when used, relieve programmers of many tedious and complex tasks, like graphical output, keyboard handling, mouse control, file access, and network communication.
