TLDR
Z-Tree as mentioned in this paper is a toolbox for ready-made economic experiments, which allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time and is stable and easy to use.
Abstract
z-Tree (Zurich Toolbox for Ready-made Economic Experiments) is a software for developing and conducting economic experiments. The software is stable and allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time. In this article, I present the guiding principles behind the software design, its features, and its limitations.

The Effect of Cognitive Load on Economic Decision Making

Cary Deck, +1 more
TL;DR: This article found that cognitive load leads to more risk-averse behavior, more impatience over money, and (nominally) more likelihood to anchor, and found that those individuals who are most sensitive to cognitive load, as measured by a large drop in their own math performance across 1 and 8-digit memorization treatments, are driving much of the effect.

Gender pairing and bargaining—Beware the same sex!

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of gender and gender pairing on economic decision making in an experimental two-person bargaining game where the other party's gender is known to both actors was studied.

Emissions variability in tradable permit markets with imperfect enforcement and banking

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify important interactions between banking, compliance and enforcement in emissions trading and show that noncompliance and emissions are significantly greater when banking is allowed, while price stability comes at a cost.

Signaling in deterministic and stochastic settings

TL;DR: In the stochastic variant of the signaling game, there is more signaling behavior than with deterministic signals, and less frequent types distort their signals relatively more, and the degree of congruence between equilibrium and subject behavior is greater in Stochastic settings compared to deterministic treatments.

Habits of Virtue: Creating Norms of Cooperation and Defection in the Laboratory

TL;DR: This paper found that subjects from environments that support cooperation are more prosocial, more likely to punish selfishness, and more generally trusting than those who do not support cooperation, suggesting that intuitive processes play a key role in the spillover.

z-Tree - Zurich toolbox for readymade economic experiments: experimenter's manual

TL;DR: The z-tree toolbox for readymade economic experiments as discussed by the authors allows to program and conduct a wide range of experiments, including simultaneous and sequential games as well as market experiments and posted offer markets.

A simple mechanism for the efficient provision of public goods - experimental evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments designed to investigate the factor of incentive mechanisms in the case of private provisions of public goods is presented. But the results showed that the proposed incentive mechanism is very promising.

RatImage - research Assistance Toolbox for Computer-Aided Human Behavior Experiments

TL;DR: RatImage contains Borland Turbo Pascal constans, variables, functions, and procedures which, when used, relieve programmers of many tedious and complex tasks, like graphical output, keyboard handling, mouse control, file access, and network communication.
