TLDR
Z-Tree as mentioned in this paper is a toolbox for ready-made economic experiments, which allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time and is stable and easy to use.
Abstract
z-Tree (Zurich Toolbox for Ready-made Economic Experiments) is a software for developing and conducting economic experiments. The software is stable and allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time. In this article, I present the guiding principles behind the software design, its features, and its limitations.

Conducting interactive experiments online

TL;DR: It is concluded that data quality for interactive experiments via the Internet is adequate and reliable, making online interactive experimentation a potentially valuable complement to laboratory studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studying the neurobiology of social interaction with transcranial direct current stimulation--the example of punishing unfairness.

TL;DR: Right prefrontal cathodal tDCS is applied and it is shown that subjects' propensity to punish unfair behavior is reduced significantly and transcranial direct current stimulation can overcome limits.

Limited Depth of Reasoning and Failure of Cascade Formation in the Laboratory

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examine the robustness of information cascades in laboratory experiments and find that the subjects' inferences become significantly more noisy on higher levels of the thought process and that only short chains of reasoning are applied by the subjects.

Constraining free riding in public goods games: designated solitary punishers can sustain human cooperation

TL;DR: It is shown that allowing a single individual to punish increases cooperation to the same level as allowing each group member to punish and results in greater group profits, providing further evidence supporting that humans will readily and knowingly behave altruistically.
Journal ArticleDOI

Slow to Anger and Fast to Forgive: Cooperation in an Uncertain World

TL;DR: In this paper, the experimental play of the repeated prisoner's dilemma when intended actions are implemented with noise was studied and it was found that subjects cooperate substantially more than in treatments without cooperative equilibria.

z-Tree - Zurich toolbox for readymade economic experiments: experimenter's manual

TL;DR: The z-tree toolbox for readymade economic experiments as discussed by the authors allows to program and conduct a wide range of experiments, including simultaneous and sequential games as well as market experiments and posted offer markets.

A simple mechanism for the efficient provision of public goods - experimental evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments designed to investigate the factor of incentive mechanisms in the case of private provisions of public goods is presented. But the results showed that the proposed incentive mechanism is very promising.

RatImage - research Assistance Toolbox for Computer-Aided Human Behavior Experiments

TL;DR: RatImage contains Borland Turbo Pascal constans, variables, functions, and procedures which, when used, relieve programmers of many tedious and complex tasks, like graphical output, keyboard handling, mouse control, file access, and network communication.
