TLDR
Z-Tree as mentioned in this paper is a toolbox for ready-made economic experiments, which allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time and is stable and easy to use.
Abstract
z-Tree (Zurich Toolbox for Ready-made Economic Experiments) is a software for developing and conducting economic experiments. The software is stable and allows programming almost any kind of experiments in a short time. In this article, I present the guiding principles behind the software design, its features, and its limitations.

Higher Order Risk Attitudes, Demographics, and Financial Decisions

TL;DR: The authors conducted an experiment to study the prevalence of the higher order risk attitudes of prudence and temperance, in a large demographically representative sample, as well as in a sample of undergraduate students.

Fight or Flight? Defending against Sequential Attacks in the Game of Siege

TL;DR: Examination of theory and behavior in a two-player game of siege, sequential attack and defense indicates that the probability of successful defense increases in the defenders valuation and it decreases in the overall number of battles in the contest.

Punishment diminishes the benefits of network reciprocity in social dilemma experiments.

TL;DR: While network reciprocity fulfilled its expected role, costly punishment proved to be surprisingly ineffective in promoting cooperation, suggesting that the rational response to punishment assumed in theoretical studies is overly stylized and needs reexamining.

Entry into Winner-Take-All and Proportional-Prize Contests: An Experimental Study

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compare the performance of two contest designs: a standard winnertake-all tournament with a single fixed prize, and a novel proportional-payment design in which that same prize is divided among contestants by their share of total achievement.

A simple mechanism for the efficient provision of public goods - experimental evidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments designed to investigate the factor of incentive mechanisms in the case of private provisions of public goods is presented. But the results showed that the proposed incentive mechanism is very promising.
