Search for electroweak production of charginos and neutralinos using leptonic final states in pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2256 more
TL;DR: The 2011 data set of the CMS experiment, consisting of an integrated luminosity of 4.98 inverse femtobarns of pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV, enables expanded searches for direct electroweak pair production of charginos and neutralinos in supersymmetric models as well as their analogs in other models of new physics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charged particle transverse momentum spectra in pp collisions at s√=0.9 and 7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2256 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the charged particle transverse momentum (pT) spectra are presented for pp collisions at 0.9 and 7 TeV, respectively, and compared with both leading-order QCD and with an empirical scaling of measurements at different collision energies using the scaling variable xT = 2 pT/sqrt(s) over the pT range up to 200 GeV/c.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for heavy, top-like quark pair production in the dilepton final state in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2189 more
- 17 Sep 2012 -
TL;DR: In this article, the results of a search for pair production of a heavy, top-like quark, t', in the decay mode (t' anti-t') to (b anti-W anti-b W) to b anti-lepton neutrino anti -b lepton anti-neutrino) are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for pair production of first- and second-generation scalar leptoquarks in pp collisions at √s=7TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2287 more
- 27 Sep 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for the pair production of first and second-generation scalar leptoquarks in proton-proton collisions at 7 TeV was conducted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Energy dependence of elliptic flow over a large pseudorapidity range in Au+Au collisions at the BNL relativistic heavy ion collider.

TL;DR: This Letter describes the measurement of the energy dependence of elliptic flow for charged particles in Au+Au collisions using the PHOBOS detector at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, implying no sharp changes in the dynamics of particle production as a function of pseudorapidity or increasing beam energy.
