2013 ACCF/AHA Guideline for the Management of Heart Failure: A Report of the American College of Cardiology Foundation/American Heart Association Task Force on Practice Guidelines

The lion's share of bacteria in various environments cannot be cloned in the laboratory and thus cannot be sequenced using existing technologies. A major goal of single-cell genomics is to complement gene-centric metagenomic data with whole-genome assemblies of uncultivated organisms. Assembly of single-cell data is challenging because of highly non-uniform read coverage as well as elevated levels of sequencing errors and chimeric reads. We describe SPAdes, a new assembler for both single-cell and standard (multicell) assembly, and demonstrate that it improves on the recently released E+V-SC assembler (specialized for single-cell data) and on popular assemblers Velvet and SoapDeNovo (for multicell data). SPAdes generates single-cell assemblies, providing information about genomes of uncultivatable bacteria that vastly exceeds what may be obtained via traditional metagenomics studies. The longstanding problems of user password management and security, and user authentication are addressed. Disclosed is a system and method for providing a means for a user to identify themselves with configurable levels of authentication in order to receive limited access or services while protecting user privacy. As a user inputs information related to their identity into an interface, the system searches an indexed database which may include both registered users and/or unregistered customers indexed from disparate data sources. The system presents the user matching results from the search in an obscured form from which the user selects and authenticates his or her identity. Unregistered users identified during the process may be automatically registered in certain embodiments, or no account may be needed in other embodiments.

System and method for account access

A method and system validates an output used in calibrating a document processing system (DPS). The calibration target is generated for assessing the range of outputs of the DPS. The target comprises a plurality of target elements and element orientation information representing a physical layout of the target elements in a DPS output. The DPS output is generated in accordance with the calibration target. The characteristic values of the DPS output are measured corresponding to the individual target elements. If a mis-ordering of the measurements of the target elements is identified, the measurements of the target element of the DPS are reordered in accordance with the desired order for computing an appropriate calibration function without requirement of re-measurement.

Neural fields model signals by mapping coordinate inputs to sampled values. They are becoming an increasingly important backbone architecture across many fields from vision and graphics to biology and astronomy. In this paper, we explore the differences between common conditioning mechanisms within these networks, an essential ingredient in shifting neural fields from memorization of signals to generalization, where the set of signals lying on a manifold is modelled jointly. In particular, we are interested in the scaling behaviour of these mechanisms to increasingly high-dimensional conditioning variables. As we show in our experiments, high-dimensional conditioning is key to modelling complex data distributions, thus it is important to determine what architecture choices best enable this when working on such problems. To this end, we run experiments modelling 2D, 3D, and 4D signals with neural fields, employing concatenation, hyper-network, and attention-based conditioning strategies -- a necessary but laborious effort that has not been performed in the literature. We find that attention-based conditioning outperforms other approaches in a variety of settings.
