Competitive SWIFT cluster templates enhance detection of aging changes
Jonathan Rebhahn,David Roumanes,Yilin Qi,Atif Ali Khan,Juilee Thakar,Alexander F. Rosenberg,F. Eun-Hyung Lee,Sally A. Quataert,Gaurav Sharma,Tim R. Mosmann,Tim R. Mosmann +10 more
TL;DR: This work shows that SWIFT template competition is a powerful approach to sharpen comparisons between selected groups in flow cytometry datasets, and demonstrates that resolution of inter‐sample differences is increased by “competition” wherein a joint model is formed by combining the mixture model templates obtained from different groups.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metabolism of hyperpolarized 13C‐acetoacetate to β‐hydroxybutyrate detects real‐time mitochondrial redox state and dysfunction in heart tissue
Wei Chen,Gaurav Sharma,Weina Jiang,Nesmine R. Maptue,Craig R. Malloy,A. Dean Sherry,A. Dean Sherry,Chalermchai Khemtong +7 more
TL;DR: The conversion of β‐hydroxybutyrate to [1,3‐13C]acetoacetate is expected to be sensitive to the abnormal redox state present in dysfunctional mitochondria.
Journal ArticleDOI
PF-IBS: Pairing-Free Identity Based Digital Signature Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks
TL;DR: A Pairing-Free Identity Based digital Signature (PF-IBS) algorithm for WSN is presented, proven secure in terms of existential UnForgeability in the random oracle model against Adaptive Chosen Message Attack (UF-PF- IBS-ACMA).
Journal ArticleDOI
Intraoperative assessment of the physiologic significance of coronary stenosis in humans
Shukri F. Khuri,Kenneth G. Warner,William A. Marston,Miguel Josa,Gaurav Sharma,Donald E. Tow,Heather Hunt,Heinz K. Schonmetzler +7 more
TL;DR: Coronary angiography was only 45% specific in assessing physiologically significant obstructions and the response of intramyocardial pH to pacing is an accurate metabolic tool to assess myocardial ischemia in humans.

Lossless compression of color look-up table via hierarchical differential encoding or cellular interpolative prediction
TL;DR: In this article, a color look-up table (CLUT) is decomposed in a lossless manner, where nodes convert values of a first color space to corresponding values of the second color space.
