A cellulose acetate based nanocomposite for photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue dye under solar light

TL;DR: In this article, a cellulose acetate-tin (IV) phosphate nanocomposite (CA/TPNC) ion exchanger has been explored for its photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue dye from aqueous solution using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of Keratin Microparticles from Feather Biomass with Potent Antioxidant and Anticancer Activities

TL;DR: In the present study chicken feathers were hydrolyzed by chemical treatment in alkaline conditions and the pH value of feather hydrolyzing solution was amended accordingly the iso-electric precipitation to reveal that the extracted keratin retained the most of protein backbone.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cosensitization of dye sensitized solar cells with a thiocyanate free Ru dye and a metal free dye containing thienylfluorene conjugation

TL;DR: In this paper, a stepwise approach has been applied for the cosensitization of a thiocyanate free Ru sensitizer (SPS-01) with a metal free dye containing thienylfluorene conjugation (JD1) for dye sensitized solar cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication of metallic nanowire arrays by electrodeposition into nanoporous alumina membranes: effect of barrier layer

TL;DR: In this article, ternary FeCo-Ni nanowires are fabricated within the nanoscale pores of alumina membranes using an electrodeposition frequency of 1,000 Hz, 15 Vrms, consistently and repeatably yield nanowire arrays over membranes several cm2 in extent.
PatentDOI

Show-through watermarking of duplex printed documents

TL;DR: Threshold arrays for the Halftone screens are designed to allow incorporation of a variety of halftone patterns while minimizing artifacts in images printed using these halftones.
