An Improved Forward Secure Elliptic Curve Signcryption Key Management Scheme for Wireless Sensor Networks

TL;DR: An elliptic curve based signcryption key management scheme has been proposed which includes forward secrecy and the shortcomings of the victim scheme have been extricated and repaired with the help of Elliptic Curve Discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP).
Journal ArticleDOI

Tobacco Cessation in India: How Can Oral Health Professionals Contribute?

TL;DR: Tobacco cessation needs to be urgently expanded by training health professionals in providing routine clinical interventions, increasing availability and subsidies of pharmacotherapy, developing wide-reaching strategies such as quitlines, and cost- effective strategies, including group interventions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unplanned reoperation after hepatectomy: an analysis of risk factors and outcomes

TL;DR: Reoperation is associated with several patient characteristics and procedural factors in this national sample and knowledge of these factors can increase awareness of patients at risk for reoperation.

Systems for spectral multiplexing of a source image and a background image to provide a composite image, for rendering the composite image, and for spectral demultiplexing of the composite images

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a method for spectrally-encoding plural source images in a composite image, rendering the composite image on a substrate, or recovering at least one of the encoded source images from the rendered composite image such that the recovered source image is made distinguishable.

Charge carrier dynamics and surface plasmon interaction in gold nanorod-blended organic solar cell

TL;DR: In this paper, a plasmon resonance energy transfer (PRET) mechanism was proposed to enhance the performance of gold nanoparticles blended with organic solar cells, and the results revealed that PRET enhances the carrier population density in polymer via non-radiative process beyond the concurrence of a particular plasmor resonance oscillation mode and polymer absorption range.
