Prototyping bio-nanorobots using molecular dynamics simulation and virtual reality
TL;DR: A molecular mechanics study using a molecular dynamics software (NAMD) coupled to virtual reality (VR) techniques for intuitive bio-nanorobotic prototyping using simulated bio-nano environments in VR to characterize the behavior of protein-based components and structures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Per-Colorant-Channel Color Barcodes for Mobile Applications: An Interference Cancellation Framework
TL;DR: Experimental results show that the proposed color barcode framework successfully overcomes the impact of the color interference, providing a low bit error rate and a high decoding rate for each of thecolorant channels when used with a corresponding error correction scheme.
Journal ArticleDOI
Volatile (As and Hg) and non-volatile (Pb and Cd) toxic heavy metals analysis in rhizome of Zingiber officinale collected from different locations of North Western Himalayas by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy
Suphla Gupta,Pankaj Pandotra,Ajai Prakash Gupta,J.K. Dhar,Gaurav Sharma,Gandhi Ram,Mohd Kashif Husain,Y.S. Bedi +7 more
TL;DR: The results illustrated the findings that soil is the major but not the only source of metal accumulation in the plants, while the non-volatile metals were predominant in samples from Uttarakhand.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pulmonary Thromboembolism: Diagnosis and Treatment
TL;DR: The mortality of undiagnosed and therefore untreated PE is relatively high, ranging from about 18% to 35%,1whereas, once diagnosed and treated, a substantial reduction to about 8% occurs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cause and impact of pulmonary hypertension in isolated aortic stenosis on operative mortality for aortic valve replacement in men
Jayashri Aragam,Jayashri Aragam,Edward D. Folland,Edward D. Folland,Diane Lapsley,Diane Lapsley,Satish C. Sharma,Satish C. Sharma,Shukri F. Khuri,Shukri F. Khuri,Gaurav Sharma,Gaurav Sharma +11 more
TL;DR: The objective of this study was to determine the incidence and pathophysiology of pulmonary hypertension in isolated AS, and its effect on operative mortality for aortic valve replacement.
