QUAREP-LiMi: A community-driven initiative to establish guidelines for quality assessment and reproducibility for instruments and images in light microscopy

Glyn Nelson, +99 more
TL;DR: The QUAREP-LiMi initiative as mentioned in this paper aims to improve the overall quality and reproducibility of light microscope image data by introducing broadly accepted standard practices and accurately captured image data metrics.

Robust integrated intracellular organization of the human iPS cell: where, how much, and how variable?

TL;DR: This work developed a reproducible microscope imaging pipeline to generate a high-quality dataset of 3D, high-resolution images of over 200,000 live cells from 25 isogenic human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) lines, and developed a new multi-part and generalizable analysis approach of the locations, amounts, and variation of these 25 cellular structures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cell states beyond transcriptomics: Integrating structural organization and gene expression in hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a quantitative, imaging-based platform for the systematic and automated classification of subcellular organization in single cells and used this platform to quantify subcellularity and gene expression in >30,000 individual human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes, producing a publicly available dataset that describes the population distributions of local and global sarcomere organization, mRNA abundance and correlations between these traits.
