TL;DR: The results suggest that there has been gene flow between some Native Americans from both North and South America and groups related to East Asians and Australo-Melanesians, the latter possibly through an East Asian route that might have included ancestors of modern Aleutian Islanders.

TL;DR: A number of prominent and well-defined clades with common N3a3'6 ancestry occur in regionally dissimilar northern Eurasian populations, indicating almost simultaneous regional diversification and expansion within the last 5,000 years.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genes reveal traces of common recent demographic history for most of the Uralic-speaking populations.

TL;DR: It is shown that most Uralic speakers share a distinct ancestry component of likely Siberian origin, which suggests that the spread of U Russia languages involved at least some demic component, and co-dispersion of genes and languages.

Shifts in the Genetic Landscape of the Western Eurasian Steppe Associated with the Beginning and End of the Scythian Dominance.
Mari Järve,Lehti Saag,Christiana L. TL;DR: The results agree with the Gothic source of the Chernyakhiv culture and support the hypothesis that the Scythian dominance did involve a demic component, and present new whole-genome sequences of 31 ancient Western and Eastern Steppe individuals, including Scythians as well as samples pre- and postdating them.

TL;DR: This project has patched the hole in the genetic map of Eurasia by demonstrating complexity of genetic structure of Northern Eurasians, existence of East-West and North-South genetic gradients, and assessed different inputs of ancient populations into modern populations.
