An Analytical Method for Multiclass Molecular Cancer Classification

TL;DR: In this paper, a computational methodology for multiclass prediction that combines class-specific (one vs. all) binary support vector machines was proposed for the diagnosis of multiple common adult malignancies using DNA microarray data.
Journal Article

In vitro differentiation of epithelial cells from cervical neoplasias resembles in vivo lesions.

TL;DR: It is shown that in the raft system, cultured cells derived from tissue biopsies can duplicate many of the histological features observed in cervical neoplasias and will thus be useful for examining the effects of HPV infection on epithelial maturation and for investigating the role of other factors in the progression of cervical malignancies.
Journal ArticleDOI

An ecosystem of cancer cell line factories to support a cancer dependency map.

TL;DR: An international effort to establish >10,000 cancer cell line models as a community resource will facilitate the creation of a cancer dependency map, connecting cancer genomics to therapeutic dependencies.
Journal ArticleDOI

The microRNA miR-31 inhibits CD8+ T cell function in chronic viral infection

TL;DR: Mechanistically, miR-31 increased the sensitivity of T cells to type I interferons, which interfered with effector T cell function and increased the expression of several proteins related to T cell dysfunction during chronic infection.
