Modulating AML1-ETO with Signature-Based Small Molecule Library Screening.

TL;DR: This approach uses gene expression signatures as surrogates for different biological states in a small molecule library screen and determined that all five compounds induce both whole genome effects consistent with AML1-ETO knockdown and a whole genome program consistent with neutrophil maturation.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Abstract P1-05-13: The metastatic breast cancer project: Translational genomics through direct patient engagement

TL;DR: Remote acquisition of medical records, saliva samples, and tumor tissue for patients located throughout the U.S. is feasible and allows for rapid identification of patients with rare phenotypes such as extraordinary responders, who have been challenging to identify with traditional approaches.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mir-15a/16-1 Cluster Is Frequently Deleted In Primary Hodgkin Lymphoma and Modulates Multiple Survival Pathways Including AP-1

TL;DR: In this article, microRNA (miR) expression profiles were integrated with high-resolution copy number data and identified single copy loss of the miR-15a/16-1 locus (chromosome 13q14) and decreased miR 15a/ 16-1 expression in 75% of examined HL cell lines.
