TL;DR: The concept of the hierarchical 3D architecture of Ag NW@NiMn-LDHs considerably advances the practice of LDHs towards metal-air batteries and oxygen electrocatalyst.
Abstract: Herein, we report hierarchical 3D NiMn-layered double hydroxide (NiMn-LDHs) shells grown on conductive silver nanowire (Ag NWs) cores as efficient, low-cost, and durable oxygen reduction reaction (ORR)/oxygen evolution reaction (OER) bifunctional electrocatalysts for metal-air batteries. The hierarchical 3D architectured Ag NW@NiMn-LDH catalysts exhibit superb OER/ORR activities in alkaline conditions. The outstanding bifunctional activities of Ag NW@NiMn-LDHs are essentially attributed to increasing both site activity and site populations. The synergistic contributions from the hierarchical 3D open-pore structure of the LDH shells, improved electrical conductivity, and small thickness of the LDHs shells are associated with more accessible site populations. Moreover, the charge transfer between Ag cores and metals of LDH shells and the formation of defective and distorted sites (less coordinated Ni and Mn sites) strongly enhance the site activity. Thus, Ag NW@NiMn-LDH hybrids exhibit a 0.75 V overvoltage difference between ORR and OER with excellent durability for 30 h, demonstrating the distinguished bifunctional electrocatalyst reported to date. Interestingly, the homemade rechargeable Zn-air battery using the hybrid Ag NW@NiMn-LDHs (1:2) catalyst as the air electrode exhibits a charge-discharge voltage gap of ∼0.77 V at 10 mA cm-2 and shows excellent cycling stability. Thus, the concept of the hierarchical 3D architecture of Ag NW@NiMn-LDHs considerably advances the practice of LDHs toward metal-air batteries and oxygen electrocatalysts.

TL;DR: This study compares the design processes of designers in both digital and traditional sketching environments, where the digital environment emulates the traditional face-to-face, pen-and-paper environment, and indicates that the designs were not statistically different in terms of their distributions and transitions.

TL;DR: The findings show that bidders' disconfirmation of online auctions is positivelyassociated with their satisfaction, which in turn is positively associated with their repurchase intentions, and Auctioneers need to recognize the distinctive roles of information policy in selling and bidding rules.
Abstract: Purpose – The purpose of this study is to integrate expectancy disconfirmation theory (EDT) to explore cognitive beliefs and affect influencing an individual's intention to repurchase in online marketplaces.Design/methodology/approach – The paper used EDT to conduct an empirical study and data were collected from a total of 303 bidders of online auctions. A structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to assess the relationships of the research model.Findings – The findings show that bidders' disconfirmation of online auctions is positively associated with their satisfaction, which in turn is positively associated with their repurchase intentions.Practical implications – Both bidders' expectation of policy and auctioneers' performance of policy are important determinants of disconfirmation. Auctioneers need to recognize the distinctive roles of information policy in selling and bidding rules. Besides, neither bidders' expectation of sellers' reputation nor their expectation of service quality has a signifi...

TL;DR: Theoretical calculations and a transport model indicate that the observed conductivity suppression can be explained by a combination of a narrow conduction band and Anderson localization due to electrolyte-induced disorder.
Abstract: Atomically thin rhenium disulphide (ReS2) is a member of the transition metal dichalcogenide family of materials. This two-dimensional semiconductor is characterized by weak interlayer coupling and a distorted 1T structure, which leads to anisotropy in electrical and optical properties. Here we report on the electrical transport study of mono- and multilayer ReS2 with polymer electrolyte gating. We find that the conductivity of monolayer ReS2 is completely suppressed at high carrier densities, an unusual feature unique to monolayers, making ReS2 the first example of such a material. Using dual-gated devices, we can distinguish the gate-induced doping from the electrostatic disorder induced by the polymer electrolyte itself. Theoretical calculations and a transport model indicate that the observed conductivity suppression can be explained by a combination of a narrow conduction band and Anderson localization due to electrolyte-induced disorder.
