TL;DR: The described method could be used to monitor the activities of higher education institutions and their separate structural subdivisions and the results of the monitoring are important for a comprehensive evaluation of scientific, educational, international, innovative and other types of activities of high education institutions in a particular region and the country as a whole.
Abstract: This paper presents a method for complex evaluation of higher education institutions based on a generalized volume of m-simplex calculation. Every kind of activities of higher education institutions (educational, scientific, innovative, etc.) determines an axis in the multidimensional space used to build the m-simplex. After evaluating higher education institutions in the specified m-activities, the points are put on the respective axis. M-simplex with vertices in these points is built. The generalized volume of this m-simplex, which is calculated based on the Cayley-Menger determinant, defines the integral quantitative assessment of higher education institutions’ activities. To verify the specified method for evaluating higher education institutions, we reviewed well-known evaluation methods and described some types of activities that could be used as a basis for a definition of the axes on which the m-simplex is built. The research component of higher education institutions’ activities is determined by the volume of articles published and their citations in international scientometric databases. The educational component relates to the quality of graduates, their competitiveness in the labour-market. The international component concerns the participation of higher education institutions and their departments in international programs and projects. The described method could be used to monitor the activities of higher education institutions and their separate structural subdivisions. The results of the monitoring are important for a comprehensive evaluation of scientific, educational, international, innovative and other types of activities of higher education institutions in a particular region and the country as a whole. In this article, we have formed a list of indicators, according to which several Ukrainian higher education institutions were evaluated. Besides, the comparison of quantitative evaluations with ratings of higher education institutions in international systems of university activities evaluation was made.

TL;DR: In this paper, the spectral characteristics of the emission of atmospheric-pressure gas-discharge plasma in mixtures of cadmium diiodide vapor with gases (Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, and N2) were investigated along with the time characteristics of voltage and current.
Abstract: The spectral characteristics of the emission of atmospheric-pressure gas-discharge plasma in mixtures of cadmium diiodide vapor with gases (Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, and N2) were investigated along with the time characteristics of the voltage and current. The gas-discharge plasma was produced and excited by a barrier discharge at a repetition rate of sine voltage pulses of up to 140 kHz. The discharge emission was analyzed in the spectral range 200–900 nm with a high resolution (0.05 nm). Radiation from exciplex CdI(B-X) molecules and excimer I2* molecules was revealed, as well as the atomic lines of cadmium, iodine, and inert gases. In a mixture with xenon, radiation from exciplex molecules XeI(B-X, B-A) was also found. This radiation prevailed in the spectra at mixture temperatures up to 150°C. The further increase of the temperature leads to the prevalence of the CdI(B-X) radiation. It was found that the most intense CdI(B-X) radiation is observed in mixtures CdI2/Xe(N2)/Ne. Regularities in the spectral characteristics of the emission of the gas-discharge plasma are discussed.

TL;DR: Choice and usage of different types of restorative materials depend on the period of bite, the condition of root formation, group membership of the teeth, depth and topography of the carious, the level of the pH of the saliva, the degree of acid resistance enamels and areas of destruction of the occlusive surface of the tooth.
Abstract: Objective: To compare the use of two different restorative materials placed in deciduous teeth . Material and Methods: Clinical observations were formed in the number of 58 patients aged 3 to 12 years; 23 - with deciduous dentition, 35 with mixed dentition. The total number of teeth was 266. The Index of destruction of the occlusal surface of the teeth (IROPZ) and the following materials were used: Ionofil Molar ® (VOCO) and Twinky Star ® (VOCO). Microphotographs of the sections selected for illustration were performed using a Biorex-3 VM-500T microscope with a digital DCM-900 attached photo element using for interpretation of the results adapted data research software. The Spearman correlation coefficient [r] was used to examine the relationship between the parameters evaluated. The level of significance was set at 5%. Results: The Twinky Star ® compomer has been found to be optimal for restoring the teeth with an IROPZ of less than 0.55, pH levels of <6.2 and any values of the degree of acidity of the enamel [r = 0.89]. Ionofil Molar ® showed to be a material of choice with high and average degrees of acidity of the enamel [r = 0.65]. Conclusion: Choice and usage of different types of restorative materials depend on the period of bite, the condition of root formation, group membership of the teeth, depth and topography of the carious, the level of the pH of the saliva, the degree of acid resistance enamels and areas of destruction of the occlusive surface of the tooth.

TL;DR: The current level of informatization does not allow health care institutions to implement an effective system of communication in healthcare.
Abstract: A low level of computerization of primary and secondary health care and a higher level in tertiary health care is shown. At the same time a low level of Internet access in primary health care institutions and much higher - in institutions of secondary and tertiary levels of health care is shown. The current level of informatization does not allow health care institutions to implement an effective system of communication in healthcare.
