Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

Multi-Modal Active Vibration Control of a Lightweight Stress-Ribbon Footbridge Based on Subspace Identification

TL;DR: The effectiveness of the proposed experimental identification method was shown in case of vertical resonance modes in vibration control experiments, and the identified state-space model from SIM can easily be transformed into a reduced modal state- space model for the AVC controller design.

Simulating application of operational modal analysis to a test rig

TL;DR: The present paper aims to analyze, with the aid of a test rig, the conditions in which OMA will result successful, and includes both the operating condition of the shaft and the amount and quality of the noise.

Vibration-based damage identification of reinforced concrete member using optical sensor array data

TL;DR: The objective of this paper is to conduct structural system identification of reinforced concrete frame by using the proposed structural integrity index (identify element curvature and null-space damage index) and the estimation of finite element strain.

Natural period and vertical distribution of base shear in confined masonry buildings using ambient vibration test

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the possible recommendations from the ambient vibration testing of a class of confined masonry building stock and compared them with a set of recorded ground motions using a numerical model and experimental results.

Damage identification in masonry structures with vibration measurements

TL;DR: In this article, an approach combining global and local ND methods was proposed to detect and locate the damage by means of vibrations measurements, and two dynamic modal identification tests were performed before and after the structural rehabilitation.
