Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

Mitigation of wind-induced vibration of a tall residential building using liquid column vibration absorber

TL;DR: In this article, an application of Liquid Column Vibration Absorber (LCVA) to mitigate the wind-induced vibration of 64-story residential buildings is presented, where the LCVA were designed to have adjustable dimension for vertical column to take the advantage of ease tuning and wide frequency range.
