Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

Earthquake-induced structural response output-only identification by two different Operational Modal Analysis techniques

TL;DR: In this article, two different Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) techniques, namely, a refined Frequency Domain Decomposition (rFDD) algorithm and an improved Data-Driven Stochastic Subspace Identification (SSI-DATA) procedure, are adopted as input channels for two different OMA techniques.

Kalman filter-based subspace identification for operational modal analysis under unmeasured periodic excitation

TL;DR: In the proposed approach, the periodic information is estimated from the data with a non-steady state Kalman filter, and then removed from the original output signal by an orthogonal projection, and it is shown that the modes of the structural system are consistently estimated.

Dynamic Analysis of Multispan Viaducts with Weak Coupling between Adjacent Spans

TL;DR: In this article, the Sesia viaduct is considered, which is a composite railway bridge consisting of seven isostatic spans, and two models are investigated: a single-span model with adjusted boundary conditions and a component mode synthesis (CMS) reduced-order model comprising all seven spans.
