Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

Identification of Probe of an Atomic Force Microscope Using Curve Fitting

TL;DR: An algorithm is developed to identify the fully parameterized state space matrices of the system and the main difficulty arises in estimating these parameters specially in the absence of one of the inputs (tip-sample interactions).

Parameters identification by a single point free response measurement

TL;DR: In this paper, an integral transform is used to map the autospectrum of the free response from the frequency domain to the stiffness domain in order to identify the equivalent torsional stiffness of the restrained edges of the plate and also the order of natural frequencies.

Output-Only Experimental Modal Testing of Large Residential Structures and Acoustic Cavities Using Sonic Booms

TL;DR: In this paper, an output-only experimental modal testing and analysis technique known as the Natural Excitation Technique (NExT) is examined for use with large residential structures and interior cavities.

Identificação de sistemas e avaliação da integridade de estruturas treliçadas

TL;DR: The present thesis aims to address some still current issues of the vibration-based structural health monitoring systems by introducing a subject that, although has recently shown important, still presents very few studies: the environmental effects, mainly temperature, on the structural modal properties.

Addressing practicalities in multivariate nonlinear regression for mitigating environmental and operational variations

TL;DR: In this paper , multivariate nonlinear regression is implemented to account for the detrimental effects caused by Environmental and Operational Variations (EOVs), which leads to issues when defining a robust baseline state as well as making the discrimination between undamaged and damaged observations more challenging.
