Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

An Overview: The Application of Vibration-Based Techniques in Bridge Structural Health Monitoring

TL;DR: In this article , a comprehensive structural health monitoring (SHM) system using vibration-based techniques and modal identification for bridge structures is well defined, and the pros and cons of each vibration technique are comprehensively evaluated, providing an advantage to the authority or structural owner when developing a bridge management database.

On the separation of a measured structural response in a forced and an ambient part for OMAX testing

TL;DR: A matrix projection (subspace) approach is developed that achieves decomposing the measured joint response in a forced and an ambient part in an accurate way and allows to use any experimental and operational modal analysis technique on the forced and ambient parts of the data, respectively, and to combine them for joint modal parameter estimation.
