Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

Recursive stochastic subspace identification for structural parameter estimation

TL;DR: A recursive SSI method which uses an unconstrained optimization technique to track the signal subspace is employed and can identify and track the time-varying modal properties of the building under ambient condition.

Mode shape expansion with consideration of analytical modelling errors and modal measurement uncertainty

TL;DR: In this paper, the perturbed force is considered as an unknown vector that contains the discrepancies in structural parameters between the analytical model and the tested structure, and a regularization algorithm based on the Tikhonov solution incorporating the L-curve criterion is adopted to reduce the influence of measurement uncertainties and to produce smooth and optimised expansion estimates in the least squares sense.

Environmental and Ambient Vibration Monitoring of Historical Adobe Buildings: Applications in Emblematic Andean Churches

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the application of long-term environmental and structural remote monitoring in two emblematic 16th-century adobe churches located in southern Peru, and present a detailed description of the two churches.
