Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

Damage detection in truss structures using a flexibility based approach with noise influence consideration

TL;DR: In this paper, the damage detection process may appear difficult to be implemented for truss structures because not all degrees of freedom in the numerical model can be experimentally measured, while keeping the calculation in a low level.

A multidisciplinary approach for fatigue assessment of a steel–concrete high-speed railway bridge on Sesia river

TL;DR: In this article, results obtained by long-term dynamic monitoring of Sesia viaduct, a medium span double-box composite bridge of the new Italian high-speed (HS) network, are described and analyzed.

Characterizing the Dynamic Response of a Chassis Frame in a Heavy-Duty Dump Vehicle Based on an Improved Stochastic System Identification

TL;DR: In this paper, an online method for the assessment of the dynamic performance of the chassis frame in a heavy-duty dump truck based on a novel stochastic subspace identification (SSI) method is presented.

Removal of transfer function effects from transmission error measurements using cepstrum-based operational modal analysis

TL;DR: A novel method to reconstruct equivalent STE or GTE from a single DTE measurement, i.e. from a moderate/high speed test is proposed, which has been validated on a single-stage spur gear rig and can be useful in gear condition monitoring, gear quality control and as an aid to gearbox modelling.
