Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

Wind load Identification of a guyed mast inversely from full-scale response measurement

TL;DR: In this paper, the wind loads are inversely reconstructed in time domain from measured structural response by means of an augmented impulse response matrix, and the inherent noise amplification arising from the illposed inverse problem is resolved through Tikhonov regularization.

Virtual sensing in an onshore wind turbine tower using a Gaussian process latent force model

TL;DR: In this paper , a Gaussian process latent force model is used to predict the strain response of an existing onshore wind turbine tower, and the predicted dynamic strains are validated using strain gauges installed near the bottom of the tower.

Monitor wind characteristics and wind‐induced responses of a skyscraper during two typhoons

TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors reported the wind properties and dynamic performance of a 632 m high-rise building in Shanghai during the passage of typhoons Jongdari and Rumbbia.

Modal Analysis and Numerical Models of a Typical Railway Bridge

TL;DR: Several numerical models of a typical railway bridge are investigated, the calculated dynamic properties assuming common assumptions for the model parameters and the sensitivity of specific model parameters to the numerical output are described.

Modal Identification of a Full‐Scale Building Under Seismic Excitation Using the Fast Mode Identification Technique

TL;DR: In this paper, a fast mode identification (FMI) technique is proposed to identify operational modal shapes at a fraction of the time used by traditional modal identification techniques, which can be used on dense wireless intelligent sensor with limited processing capabilities.
