Reference-based stochastic subspace identification for output-only modal analysis

TLDR
In this paper, a novel approach of stochastic subspace identification is presented that incorporates the idea of the reference sensors already in the identification step: the row space of future outputs is projected into the rowspace of past reference outputs.

Modal Tracking on a Building with a Reduced Number of Sensors System

TL;DR: The effects of a limited set of sensors to perform modal tracking in a building that has been monitored continuously for approximately 5 years and 8 months is explored and it is concluded that in order to obtain a reliable tracking, a minimum number of sensors is required if closely spaced modes are present.

Damage Location by Maximum Entropy Method on a Civil Structure

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the application of a new damage assessment method based on a supervised learning algorithm that uses the principle of maximum entropy, which is validated with experimental tests on a laboratory six-levels-structure that is 2 m tall.
