General Relativity: In Acknowledgement Of Professor Gerardus 't Hooft, Nobel Laureate

Stephen J. Crothers
- 01 Sep 2014 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extend their thanks to Professor Gerardus ‘t Hooft for making more widely known their work on black hole theory, big bang cosmology, and Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.
Journal ArticleDOI

The evolution of an idea: Charting the early public relations ideology of Edward L. Bernays

TL;DR: Bernays' early evolution in thought concerning the rationale for public relations and how these emergent ideological concepts have proven foundational for contemporary public relations is explored in this paper, where Bernays' ideological development in the decade after the First World War is traced through: his very early tactical work; his exposure to significant writings concerning the use of persuasion to manage the masses; and his own writings.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the theory of gravitational field in Finsler spaces

TL;DR: In this paper, structural considerations on the Finslerian gravitational field are made on the internal variable y, which is expressed as ǫ = K(x, y) yj in the internal field, and the intrinsic behaviour of the internal Variable y is grasped by the FINSlerian parallelism δyi (=0), which is reflected in the spatial structure of the external gravitational field by the mapping relation δyχ = e(x) yi.

Solar-system tests of the relativistic gravity

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reviewed and summarized the present status of solar system tests of relativistic gravity, including radio Doppler tracking and radio ranging together with Lunar Laser Ranging (LLR), and showed that these will give crucial clues in both experimental and theoretical aspects of gravity, and may lead to answers to some profound issues in gravity and cosmology.
