Journal ArticleDOI
Coffee and black tea consumption and risk of breast cancer by estrogen and progesterone receptor status in a Swedish cohort
TL;DR: Findings from this prospective study do not support a role of coffee consumption in the development of breast cancer but suggest that black tea consumption may be positively associated with risk of ER+/PR+ tumors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metabolic, anthropometric, and nutritional factors as predictors of circulating insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 levels in middle-aged and elderly men.
TL;DR: The data suggest that metabolic, anthropometric, and nutritional factors are important determinants of IGFBP-1 levels in healthy men.
Journal ArticleDOI
Confirmed hypertension and plasma 25(OH)D concentrations amongst elderly men.
Ann Burgaz,Liisa Byberg,Susanne Rautiainen,Nicola Orsini,Niclas Håkansson,Johan Ärnlöv,Johan Ärnlöv,Johan Sundström,Lars Lind,Håkan Melhus,Karl Michaëlsson,Alicja Wolk +11 more
TL;DR: High blood pressure and plasma 25(OH)D concentrations among elderly men are confirmed and appear to be related to age and disease progression.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term dietary acrylamide intake and risk of endometrial cancer in a prospective cohort of Swedish women.
TL;DR: Findings do not support the hypothesis that dietary acrylamide intake is positively associated with risk of endometrial cancer, at least not within the ranges of acrieslamide consumed in this population.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combined associations of a polygenic risk score and classical risk factors with breast cancer risk.

TL;DR: Variation in projected absolute lifetime risk of breast cancer associated with classical risk factors was greater for women with higher genetic risk (PRS313 and family history) and, on average, 17.5% higher in the highest vs lowest deciles of genetic risk.
