TL;DR: In this paper, a nonwoven stretch fabric is described, which is made from a web of bicomponent fibers bonded together by fusion of fibers at points of contact and thermally crimped in situ in the web.
Abstract: A nonwoven stretch fabric is provided. The fabric is produced from a web of bicomponent fibers bonded together by fusion of fibers at points of contact and thermally crimped in situ in the web. The fabric has good uniformity, good thermal insulating properties, and is produced by subjecting a fibrous web of thermally bondable, thermally crimpable bicomponent fibers to heated gas supplied continuously to the top of the web and intermittently to the bottom of the web.

TL;DR: The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the novel tape, like that of Silver U.S. Pat. No. 3,922,464, comprises a copolymer of alkyl acrylate such as isooctyl acrylated and a small amount of emulsifier monomer as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the novel tape, like that of Silver U.S. Pat. No. 3,922,464, comprises a copolymer of alkyl acrylate such as isooctyl acrylate and a small amount of emulsifier monomer. The novel tape differs from that of Silver by incorporating tackifier resin, thus better resisting lifting forces at elevated temperatures while also being cleanly removable.

TL;DR: In this article, a film-forming composition containing a broad spectrum antimicrobial as an antimicrobial agent is presented. The composition forms a film which is a substantially fluid-resistant, substantially tack-free, flexible film which adheres to skin and releases the antimicrobial agents to skin.
Abstract: A film-forming composition containing a broad spectrum antimicrobial as an antimicrobial agent. The composition forms a film which is a substantially fluid-resistant, substantially tack-free, flexible film which adheres to skin and releases the antimicrobial agent to skin. A method of using the film-forming composition is also disclosed.

TL;DR: In this article, a compact optical fiber distribution center has a housing provided by a pair of stackable containers, where a plurality of card-like modules are mounted, normally aligned in single file, and each extending vertically when the distribution center is in use.
Abstract: A compact optical fiber distribution center has a housing provided by a pair of stackable containers. One container encloses a fiber connector zone in which a plurality of card-like modules are slidably mounted, normally aligned in single file, and each extending vertically when the distribution center is in use. The other container has a jumper routing zone at the front, a fiber routing zone at the rear, and an intermediate fiber storage zone which is divided by partitions, each of which is aligned with a space between adjacent modules. Each module carries a row of optical fiber connectors. At one side of the housing, the rear ends of the connectors can be connected to optical fibers of one or more feeder cables, and at the other side, the rear ends can be connected to optical fibers of one or more distribution cables. The front ends of the connectors at said one side can be connected by optical fiber jumpers to the front ends of connectors at said other side, thus interconnecting any feeder fiber with any distribution fiber. Easy access to the connectors is afforded by sliding individual modules out of the single file toward a front or a rear opening in the housing, which openings are closable by hinged doors.

TL;DR: In this article, a fiber optic splice closure for protecting the splice made into a transmission cable, containing a plurality of fibers which are to remain unsevered, comprises a base to which the cable is anchored and in which slack fibers in the uncut cable are looped and stored free of transverse barriers.
Abstract: A fiber optic splice closure for protecting the splice made into a transmission cable, containing a plurality of fibers which are to remain unsevered, comprises a base to which the cable is anchored and in which slack fibers in the uncut cable are looped and stored free of transverse barriers. The seal is made with the cables and the base by a mating cover provided with a second area to receive splice trays and slack fibers selected from the cable for splicing.
