16 Dec 2008TL;DR: In this article, a controller circuit is specified, having a step-up controller, a resonant converter connected downstream of the stepup controller on the output side, a transformer, a rectifier, which rectifier is connected to the secondary winding of the transformer on the input side, and a CLL resonant circuit connected to both the primary and secondary windings of a transformer.
Abstract: A controller circuit is specified, having a step-up controller, a resonant converter connected downstream of the step-up controller on the output side, a transformer, a rectifier, which rectifier is connected to the secondary winding of the transformer on the input side, and a CLL resonant circuit connected to the resonant converter and to the primary winding of the transformer, which CLL resonant circuit has a resonance capacitance and a first and a second resonance inductance. In order to reduce the switching losses, the CLL resonant circuit is embodied as a “T” circuit.

26 Aug 2010TL;DR: In this article, a robot system for picking parts from a bin (40) uses the image from one or more cameras (38) to determine if the robot gripper has picked one part or more than one part.
Abstract: A robot system (10) for picking parts (41) from a bin (40) use the image from one or more cameras (38) to determine if the robot gripper (24) has picked one part or more than one part and uses one or more images from one or more cameras (38) to determine the position / orientation of a picked part. If the robot (12) has picked more than one part from the bin (40) then an attempt is made to return the excess picked parts to the bin (40). The position / orientation of a picked part that does not meet a predetermined criteria is changed.

12 Dec 1990TL;DR: In turn-off MOS control power semiconductor devices, a plurality of first and second unit cells (Z1 and Z2, respectively) are arranged alternately alongside one another and connected in parallel in a semiconductor substrate (1) between a first main electrode and a second main electrode (H2).
Abstract: In a turn-off MOS-control power semiconductor device, a plurality of first and second unit cells (Z1 and Z2, respectively) are arranged alternately alongside one another and connected in parallel in a semiconductor substrate (1) between a first main electrode (H1) and a second main electrode (H2). Each of the first unit cells (Z1) contains a thyristor structure having a sequence of alternatingly doped layers which encloses a skirt-type first emitter region (5) having an inner, more lightly doped first central region (11). Each of the second unit cells (Z2) comprises an emitter layer (9), a base layer (8) and a contact region (7) embedded in the base layer (8) on the side nearest the first main electrode (H1) and having opposite doping to the base layer (8). The device can be turned on and turned off with increased turn-off capability via conducting channels by means of a single first gate electrode (4).

TL;DR: In this paper, the arrangement of elements for the conduction of current between adjacent, flat, stacked fuel cells containing ceramic solid electrolyte is described, which comprises an electrically conducting separating plate (7) which separates the gaseous media fuel (CH4) and oxygen carrier (O2) and current collectors (5, 10) which are situated on either side of the separating plate and are firmly anchored in the oxygen electrode and the fuel electrode.
Abstract: Arrangement of elements for the conduction of current between adjacent, flat, stacked fuel cells containing ceramic solid electrolyte (1), which arrangement comprises an electrically conducting separating plate (7) which separates the gaseous media fuel (CH4) and oxygen carrier (O2) and current collectors (5; 10) which are situated on either side of the separating plate (7) and are firmly anchored in the oxygen electrode (2) and the fuel electrode (3). At least the current collector on one side can slide freely on the separating plate (7) laterally and in parallel with the plane of the plate. Variant: the oxygen-side current collector (10) is firmly anchored on the separating plate (7).

17 Jul 1998TL;DR: In this article, a method of operating a power station plant which essentially comprises a gas-turbine group and a steam circuit arranged downstream, a portion of the condensate collecting from this steam circuit is directed to an intercooler, which belongs to the compressor of the gas-to-air unit and in which the condenser is heated up to form hot water.
Abstract: In a method of operating a power station plant which essentially comprises a gas-turbine group and a steam circuit arranged downstream, a portion of the condensate collecting from this steam circuit is directed to an intercooler, which belongs to the compressor of the gas-turbine group and in which the condensate is heated up to form hot water. This hot water is then introduced directly or via a further heating-up means into the gas-turbine group at a suitable point.
