TL;DR: A blind watermarking method in lifting wavelet transform (LWT) domain based on nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) and singular value decomposition (SVD) for image copyright protection outperforms state-of-the-art methods in terms of invisibility and robustness.
Abstract: We present a blind watermarking method in lifting wavelet transform (LWT) domain based on nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) and singular value decomposition (SVD) for image copyright protection. The watermark image is preprocessed first using a Gaussian map in order to enhance the confidentiality. LWT is then applied to the original image to get sub-bands and the low frequency sub-band is divided into blocks. NMF is performed on each of these blocks to get the nonnegative matrix and weight matrix. Weight matix of each block is decomposed into three matrices using SVD. The largest singular value of each weight matrix is selected for embedding watermark using a quantization function. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method shows high robustness against different attacks. Moreover, it outperforms state-of-the-art methods in terms of invisibility and robustness.

TL;DR: An optimal power flow model with minimum-cost generations is developed in MATPOWER simulation environment as discussed by the authors, which considers a loss-less network where only real power flows among 13 interconnections for the 9 zones are considered.
Abstract: The world's electricity demand is ever increasing since the digitalization and industrialization have begun. Bangladesh as a developing country has a power sector that has been one of the fastest-growing ones in South-Asia. A relentless development of its economy is urging the government to increase the generation capacity every year. Bangladesh Power Development Board's master plan aims to generate 39,000 MW by 2030. This study is a representation of the 2030 generation scenarios in terms of real power flows between the 9 electrical zones of Bangladesh. An optimal power flow model with minimum-cost generations is developed in MATPOWER simulation environment. The DCOPF model simulated here, considers a loss-less network where only real power flows among 13 interconnections for the 9 zones are considered. The power flow values and directions obtained here give an approximate idea of the future generation and transmission of real power in Bangladesh for the year 2030.

TL;DR: A new cryptosystem which is based on Pseudo-inverse matrix and Elliptic Curve Cryptography is proposed and evaluated on the basis of the results of similar works as well as the own simulation done in TinyOS environment.
Abstract: Applying asymmetric key security to wireless sensor network (WSN) has been challenging task for the researcher of this field. One common trade-off is that asymmetric key architecture does provide good enough security than symmetric key but on the other hand, sensor network has some resource limitations to implement asymmetric key approach. Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) has significant advantages than other asymmetric key system like RSA, D-H etc. The most important feature of ECC is that it has much less bit requirement and at the same time, ensures better security compared to others. Hence, ECC can be a better option for implementing asymmetric key approach for sensor network. We propose a new cryptosystem which is based on Pseudo-inverse matrix and Elliptic Curve Cryptography. We establish a relationship between these two different concepts and evaluate our proposed system on the basis of the results of similar works as well as our own simulation done in TinyOS environment.

TL;DR: It is apparent that the temporal factors of the gait cycle of PD patients are sufficiently changed in regard to the controlled subjects, all the more explicitly PD patients invest more energy in the two limbs than a single limb of a gait cycles which is absolutely in switch of the controlled subject.
Abstract: The biometric method which is involved with defining pattern of movement of human limbs is called Gait. Though gait has a fixed rhythmic pattern, in case of people who are affected with neurological disease such as- Parkinson's disease (PD) the gait pattern gets distorted from normal gait pattern. In this paper, temporal variables of gait cycles are analyzed to determine the deficit in the gait cycle in PD patients. Gait cycle of 10 PD patients and 10 Controlled subjects are examined in this paper. A comparative analysis was done in respect of temporal variables such as- Single Limb Support Time and Double Limb Support Time. From the examination and investigation, it is apparent that the temporal factors of the gait cycle of PD patients are sufficiently changed in regard to the controlled subjects, all the more explicitly PD patients invest more energy in the two limbs than a single limb of a gait cycle which is absolutely in switch of the controlled subject.

TL;DR: In this article, an analysis is presented to show time series data of electricity generation mix and forecasting by 2030 in Bangladesh, which shows the rise of renewable energy sources, coal and oil and the diminution of natural gas gradually.
Abstract: An analysis is presented to show time series data of electricity generation mix and forecasting by 2030 in Bangladesh. The comparative studies have been analyzed using spatiotemporal data of Germany, Australia and Bangladesh. The spatiotemporal data has been taken out from World Bank data bank for analysis. A Linear regression technique is applied for forecasting electricity generation mix from 2015 to 2030. The result shows the rise of renewable energy sources, coal and oil, and the diminution of natural gas gradually.
